News: PFT: Jason Garrett on return to Dallas: I'm focused on the Giants

That's the process - 4 years from now he will still be trying to find this out.

At this point, I'll be surprised if Garrett gets to year two in New York. He no longer has Step Dad Jerry Jones looking the other way at all of his failings.

His Giants offense isn't just 'among the worst in the league' as many of us expected, they ARE the worst in the league. He's managed to even exceed our expectations for his incompetence.

I can't believe anyone could be confident in a win against the Giants with the absolute garbage our defense has put on the field. I swear when I watch them I hear Benny Hill music.
I just think that after the media has been ripping them apart they come out to play hard. Maybe I am an optimist but if we get into a shootout, I dont see the Giants offense beating us.

He will blame his failings on losing Barkley for the year, he will get a minimum of 3 years.

In all seriousness, I find Jason Garrett to be a caricature of an NFL coach and, quite frankly, his tenure with the Cowboys was the embodiment of all that was wrong with the team. He would have made a great politician.

Glad I got that off my chest... Now, on to the weekend!

Jason Garrett doesn't belong in todays NFL.

He knows how to run a basic offense and that's all he's got.

Jason on a bad day could squeeze out about 21 on this defense, he knows our players well obviously, so I think it’s safe to say giants ring up at least 31

Mara is actually rather fond of him too from when he was there. He actually suggested to Judge to bring him in for an interview. Poor sap.

That won't last when his offense is dead last.

I thought their line was so bad though @aria :muttley:
Still trolling/obsessed with me I see.

Yeah, their O line is that bad stalker. Do a little more research as to why they rushed for that many yards. As usual, you’re spouting off about something you know nothing about.

Do I really need to embarrass you yet again? I already know why those numbers are misleading and obviously you don’t. Why should I have to post the links proving you wrong when you won’t even click on them?

Do your own research and get back to me. You really shouldn’t call me out without knowing a damn thing, I kind of feel bad for you.

I throw a little joke and you write a bunch of paragraphs. Relax

That's because giants offense is as bad as the cowboys defense, maybe worst

Perfectly relaxed. Hard to tell when you’re joking with some of the outrageous comments you make. Or....or perhaps you actually figured out why those rushing numbers are extremely misleading and now you’re chalking it up to joking.

I’ll give you a few reasons. Giants have given up the most sacks in the league. Yeah, some of those are on their horrendous turnover leading QB, but many are on the O line which is also why they’ve given up so many pressures.

The Giants have scored 3 (THREE) TD’s all season IIRC. They have scored 7 points more ALL season combined than the Cowboys did against just the Falcons.

The Rams started playing 6 men in the box.

They had 11 TOTAL yards in the first half until the 2 min warning when the Rams started playing soft.

You know the O line is a problem when the QB was the leading rusher against SF and tied with one of their RB’s (46 yards) against the Rams because he’s constantly running for his life.

But other than that, yeah those 157 yards definitely show how good that O line is!

BTW, week 5 PFF O line rankings have them at 31st, one spot ahead of the Jets.
