News: PFT: Jason Garrett on return to Dallas: I'm focused on the Giants

it's supposed to be 95 to 98 degrees on game day. is there a way we can put the giants on the sunny side like the old stadium?

At this point, I'll be surprised if Garrett gets to year two in New York. He no longer has Step Dad Jerry Jones looking the other way at all of his failings.

His Giants offense isn't just 'among the worst in the league' as many of us expected, they ARE the worst in the league. He's managed to even exceed our expectations for his incompetence.

Nah, I had him as the #32 HC after Marvin left Cincinnati.

Jason Garrett on return to Dallas: I'm focused on the Giants - ProFootballTalk

Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was the head coach of the Cowboys for most of the last decade, so it was a good bet that he'd be asked about how his emotions during a press conference ahead of this Sunday's game in Dallas. That question was asked of Garrett on Thursday and he said he [more]

At least 3+ TDs this week

..he forgot his favorite line: "Its a process". ;)...

One thing to remember, the Giants have played these defenses so far:

Pittsburgh
Chicago
San Francisco
LA Rams

This week they get the Cowboys so-called defense. The Giants defense held Chicago and the Rams to only 17 points as well.

Man, if we lose to the Clappy and the winless Giants.........................wow..................no words.

He should be.

With the 32nd ranked scoring offense in the entire league, he's got enough of his own problems to worry about.

"With no touchdowns in their last two games and a total of 47 points on the season, the Giants could use any help that Garrett can provide to the offense. That might not be much at this point, however. Garrett said Thursday, via Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, that the Giants are still “trying to discover” what they do well offensively after four games."

Wow! Just wow!
:omg:
They dont do much,, could you imagine this offense minus Zeke, and they are much worse without SB.

Mahomes has a career passer rating of 109.5 Cowboys' opponents have a passer rating of 114.3 this season.

Every QB is better than Mahomes when they face this defense. Dak's fault! Enter Daniel Jones. :muttley:

I suspect we'll see classic Garrett. Ball control, put points on the board, and keep the Cowboys O on the bench. All the things he preached here is his MO: Get his offense in a rhythm, find some consistency, and exploit the mismatches. As long as he's moving the ball and putting up points, he's content.

We know this. He knows we know this. So a smart coach would flip the script. If/when they got a lead they'd try to stomp Jerry's throat. Of course, Jason is a "professional who understands the business of football," he'll be in it to win it without embarrassing anybody.

Exploit mismatches? I must've missed that one
