Oh COME ON. ***ANYBODY*** who said after Romo went down in the 3rd preseason game that they expected this football team to be 3-1 at this point would have been called the ultimate homer.

If right before the game with the Giants in week 1, Jerry had gone around saying "After the fourth week I expect this team to be 3-1!" imagine the fun the media would've had with him.

Romo had a 6 game and a 5 game winning streak in 2014.

Peoole don't expect 200 in 4 games, but 120+ is very likely.

You absolutely can have an idea of if teams are good or bad early on. Or at least an opinion about it. There are some exceptions, but really bad teams are fairly easy to spot before the season.

Who is discounting Dak or these wins? Jerry is the one discounting his team with his comments.

I think there are some people looking to defend Dak when there was nothing to defend.

Well all teams tend to play the cowboys hard, so there are no easy games.
Chicago was in that cutler was out, and they had a lot of others out too.
Tony had 115 points at this point and was 3-1 in 2014 his best year recently.
So both started 3-1 and tony had ints dak doesnt, and tony scored 14 more points... or did he? could have been defensive scores?
Both lost the 1st game tony badly, dak by 1 point
Bottom line both were 3-1 at this point
