Jerry has hit a new level of crazy. I hope Stephen takes control of the franchise soon.
Jerry really doesn't appear to have a ton of support among the other owners here.

Based on what?
32-0 vote (including Jerry) to extend Goodell in May, now he changes his mind after one of his players gets suspended? Probably looks like sour grapes and pettiness, regardless of the substantive points Jerry is raising--of course, these points were no less salient in May.
Stephen has a better haircut...I'm starting to think Stephen won't be much better.

I'd like to see stats on the TV ratings.I don't see how anyone can not agree with what Jones is saying.
Is there any question the NFL is having issues right now?
Does any owner think things are "fine"?
Disregard the other factors for why Jerry Jones might be leading the charge on this and focus instead on the message.
Any owner who thinks the same status quo should continue is one that should be charged with "conduct detrimental to the league", along with its Commissioner.
I think the request was already denied with the reason that they are already meeting in December anyway.Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is no longer laughing about the possibility of being disciplined for conduct detrimental to the interests of the NFL.
Via Andrew Beaton of the Wall Street Journal, the latest missive in the letter-writing campaign comes from Jones. The letter requests a special meeting of the owners to address the extension of Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract.

It wasn't a vote to extend him, it was a vote for the committee to hash out the details of any possible contract extension.32-0 vote (including Jerry) to extend Goodell in May, now he changes his mind after one of his players gets suspended? They voted to extend Goodell via the Competition Committee. It has now been shown that the support was bought by the agreement to put Jerry on as an unofficial 7th member of the committee so he could represent the rest of the owners. Now it is known that agreement was defaulted on, as usual, by the powers that be and that the process has been corrupted.32-0 vote (including Jerry) to extend Goodell in May, now he changes his mind after one of his players gets suspended? This is true. Very true.Stephen has a better haircut...
32-0 doesn't mean anything other than they didn't have 17 against at a time when they weren't looking to oust him anyway. The owners are going to show a united front for their commissioner. If Kraft didn't vote against, you know that was a cosmetic move.

This invalidates the original may agreement and is the basis for what Jerry's case is arguing about.
God I want transcripts of that meeting
