Yet when I go against the moves he makes a lot of you applaud him while he does it.
Who is "a lot you" ? You think you are special? LOL!!! You are just another guy on a fan forum like the rest of us pal. Nothing special about your opinion or really anyone else's here. Just a bunch of dumb knuckle-draggers that could only dream to work for a NFL team. Get over yourself.

Jerry in reality was just trying to cover for the FO being cheap and not winning anything. It was basically him trying to save face for not spending money in FA.

Contrary to what his fanboys think, Jerry Jones cares very much about his image.

I don’t think we can say we have the best QB in division anymore either.

Hurts tonight could become MVP and Sunday something else.

Sounds like a good topic :)
Blasphemy!! Hurts is a laughingstock to many great QB evaluators on this board. No way he could lead his team to SB in his second full season.

Just think if Jimmy had been our GM all these years.
One of the worst things is that I can see alternate realities. I can see this one very clear where Jerry realized what he had here, and did everything he could to keep it going. Jimmy stays coach as the Cowboys win 4 SBs in a row. He then moves to GM full time and passes off Head Coaching duties to whichever coach he thought best. Cowboys win at least 2 more SBs in the last 25 years.

tbf in miami he didnt have as nearly as much control as he wanted, plus he was stuck with a declining Marino. He turned that defense into an elite unit though.
Jimmy had full 100% control in Miami. Wayne H the owner had no interest in running the team.

He was completely responsible for building those teams. If Jerry had anything to do with it he would have done it by now. Don't care anymore if Jerry was the owner. He wanted the credit well he gets the blame for 30 years of failure.
Great but is that good enough to get into the HOF as a coach?

Depending on who the Commanders get I could see Dak being no better than 3rd best QB in the NFC East. Daniel Jones looks like he has more of an upside than Dak right now.

Jimmy had two stints in Miami. In his first he built a dynasty at the University of Miami. He won an NCAA Championship as coach, then Craig Erickson won two more with the program Johnson had built.

Again, to claim Jimmy Johnson sucks because of his time as Dolphins coach is as ridiculous as claiming Vince Lombardi sucks because of his time with Washington.

It’s called IMPACT Ken. Which is also a factor for induction into the HOF.
So why isn't Tom Coughlin in the HOF?

2 super bowl championships and won 170 games?

Does Jimmy Johnson's career really compare with HOF Bill Parcells? 2 super bowls, went to an AFC CC game with a different team and won 300 games.

And they still won't beat him.
