If James is being a sourpuss and does anything to hurt our fully capable backup QB I hope the coaches roast his ***. Take that aggression out on players that don't wear the star...

He shouldn't foget, Kitna should've kept his mouth shut and stopped talking like he had just won the Super Bowl. When the pads come on in TC, I promise you that there will a red X on Kitna's chest.

James should forget it. His play was putrid.

Does this team have a psychologist on staff? If not, it might be time.

Hey, I'd take that job!

Not that I'm a licensed psychologist but I would love the chance to set some people straight. :D

My "Dr. Bob Hartley" theory is that Kitna's humiliating comments motivated Bradie to raise the level of his game. Maybe lightning will strike twice with RW11.

When James stops two back to back 65-plus yard runs at the end of the season to save a game and a shot at the play-offs, then he can get his panties in a bunch.

The problem with this team is there are too many players who are sensitive.

Maybe Jerry should supply the yarn and they stop playing dominoes in the locker room and perhaps knit a sweater.

Isn't that the truth.

I'd love to see him have enough "fire" to help the Cowboys win one lousy playoff game.

newlander;2839607 said:
Sacamano is right: direct your "fire" at the opponents Bradie. Guy STILL doesn't get it IMO. Just like 1/2 this team: immature babies. Too bad, because he's a pretty good player.

you guys have to remember that Bradie is still the guy who didn't really care that we lost to the Commanders at home

xWraithx;2839633 said:
since you haven't heard him do it, it's probably never happened

I'm not saying that, I'm saying instead of bringing up that he's still sore about what his backup QB said 2 years ago, then he's missing the boat because alot of stuff has happened since then

Aaron Wilson needs to do some more research on the topic he's reporting on if the thinks Bradie was thin-skinned about the Kitna comments.

Bradie, just shut up and do your job. No body elected you as spokesperson no matter how erudite and well-spoken you are, which you are not on both counts.

I agree if he actually meant it--but like I said before, it sounded more tongue-in-cheek when I heard it on the radio. He almost sounded more like he was going to be "controversial" because Greg Ellis was running his mouth.

Honestly, it sounded more like fodder to kill the Ellis B.S. comments.

This is lame on both parties. Even if Kitna thought James was a liability and didnt know what he was doing, He shouldnt be talking because Him and those lIons had no room to talk...Even though We did everything possible to lose that game.

And Bradie james...Well That guy is soooooo inconsistant. He does look lost sometimes. Grow up and take the critics. get better and prove everybody you are not lost and can get it done. Just my opinion.

Bradie does a great job, so there's no point in telling him again to do something he's already doing.

As for the spokesperson part, I don't think he needs to be elected spokesperson for Bradie James, which is the only person he's speaking for.

I suspect he didn't just show up at the station and start talking, which means he was probably invited. From that we can infer that people are likely to be interested in his opinions. Acting as an elected spokesperson for Idgit, I'll go on the record and say that I thought James did a really, really good job in his interviews this week.

I have no idea how a guy like bradie james, an NFL linebacker, can have such thin skin to carry around a slight like that for so many years.

You have to have thin skin and a short memory to be successful in the NFL.

Getting mad at another player calling you out publicly and laughing at you on the radio does not affect Bradie's NFL success an iota. I think it'd have a bigger impact if he let somebody disrespect him publicly like that and just took it in stride.

I guess, the fact that Bradie James is already successful in the NFL also undermines your point....

As much as I think Kitna's comments were a good thing because they seemingly have helped motivate Bradie into a much better player, I have no problem if Bradie still remembers those comments. Just a means to an end.

It's funny, if Bradie never mentions this then some people would be saying that he's aloof and has no heart. Then he mentions that he still resents it and they say he's thin skinned. I think in part he's a better player because of it, and I'm all for it. Different people get motivated in different ways.

I think Bradie's improved play was due much more to a better scheme than to being mad at Jon Kitna.

Quoted for TRUTH!

Even in Wade's scheme (first year) and mad as hell, James could do nada against Kitna or the Detroit offense. It was mostly the heroics of Romo and the offense that delivered the win.

I agree mostly.

But even if it was tongue in cheek . . . why? Why?

As to James, does it just seem that way or is he the New Ellis (but largely without a track record)?

James was probably our third best defender last year. What player have you guys been watching?

Now Kitna is a Cowboy and that makes him OK with me. I'm homeristic like that. He proved to be an idiot at times in Detroit, but he has an excellent skill set for a backup QB.

Dallas hasn't signed a lot of players, historically, that hurt them as an opponent.

When they have, like Rocket Ismail (torched Dallas bad when he was with CAR), it turned out pretty good for them. Lets hope its the same with Kitna.

Get over it, Bradie. I despised Kitna when he made those comments and wanted Bradie and Newman to drive him into the turf in Dec. '07 (I was at that game), but the Dallas D barely touched him. Now Kitna is a Cowboy and that makes him OK with me. I'm homeristic like that. He proved to be an idiot at times in Detroit, but he has an excellent skill set for a backup QB. Hopefully, he's learned his lesson about dissing opponents and hopefully Bradie can move forward. Quite frankly, he never should've admitted to still holding a grudge. That's something you keep to yourself.

Surprise surprise. He's still mad about it today yet didn't do a thing about it on the field. Get over it. This team being full of ******* is getting really old.
