PFT: Matt Jones: "It was a bad mistake"

We need depth at WR.
Jones has produced more than everyone on our roster outside of Roy and Crayton as far as WR are concerned.
Sure another team could pick him up, and one probably will sometime during the season. However, I think we're expecting too much out of Miles Austin, he made a few decent plays (when defenses were in zone defending T.O., Witten, Roy, and sometimes Crayton). When you're the 4th or 5th option going deep, the only defender you have to worry about is the S up top. WR depth is needed, if Miles succeeds and proves he's worthy of the 2nd spot then we can drop Jones, but otherwise some depth is needed.

Now, what about why Matt Jones is owed another chance to play in the NFL?
