Your crazy if you think Dwayne Wade is a drama queen... That guy comes to play night in-and-out and his style of play is conducive to punishment...

I've never seen a more comically obvious "look at me, I'm a hero!" moment. He wanted a legendary NBA Finals moment, so he manufactured one.

Wow... You mean Merriman risks his career for playing? Does that mean he cannot play effectively on the field?

Tell me something I didn't know... You know what Merriman also said:

"They've all said the same things about the injury," Merriman said last week. "[They're] kind of surprised that I've been playing with it up to this point."

That is why I specifically said:

The doctors may have been surprised, but it is already acknowledged that Merriman had this injury prior and was playing on it. This cannot be disputed by any doctor.

None of this means the doctors said it isn't possible Merriman can't play on his knees... In fact, Merriman used the words 'kind of', of which none of implies that it was something amazing...

The issue is that he's risking his career by playing through it and not getting the surgery done now.

The doctors recommend he gets the surgery now, rather than risk a playing career that could potentially last another dozen years.

Why?

he was told my 4 doctors to get surgery, he went against them. He can't sue the team if he gets hurt again, and if he doesn't, then they get a season out of him.

a person's health alone considering the repercussions of this decision should be enough of a reason the team should step in and say no to him playing. They have an unspoken but not unknown obligation to do the right thing.
