They could get Thielen for far less than $20 million. Gotta wonder why Jerry isn't singing his praises, instead of OBJ. Maybe he should attend his workout, instead?! Gotta wonder if Jerry's overgrown ego might have taken a hit on this one. If not, perhaps it should.

I don’t want him because he can’t stay on the field, but that number doesn’t sound crazy these days. Its the guaranteed money that matters.
Yes, it does sound crazy. 20 mil is for consistent #1 type WRs w/ no major injury issues. He is not that.

For $20M per year, they could've kept Amari Cooper
and probably would've defeated SF with him on the field.
That is, if he wasn't calling Dak "Kirk" after the first interception.

Bye!!!!

Two things........this explains the private workout for multiple teams and why Jerry hasn't signed him. In other words, he's chasing the money.
BTW......Spotrac puts his value a $13.1M. Silly me, I thought that was a bit high, lol.

Hell, give the Bucs a day-three pick and trade for Mike Evans

Odell Beckham Jr. is still looking for $20 million per year

I looked at his stats. His last two 1000 yard seasons We’re less than 1100. It’s been.a while since he had even 1200 yards. He’s nit getting 20 million.

Likely gets 12-14 with incentives to get it to 20
that's how i would decree this beckham flirtation and huge gamble too. ... i'd be more comfortable loading incentive and escape clauses aboard ... and that
could exclude us as the more serious bidders for his services .....

I’d give him 11 million max.

If he did ask for AAV $20 million.

Good luck with that, buddy.

Jerry isn’t sweating the 20 million a year, he just needs time for his marketing people to determine how much of that can be made up in jersey sales.

If it’s a lot = discount WR that may or may not still be able to run (not overly important).

Zeke and Beckham are what’s going to get this team over the hump. That’s just a few notches beyond ridiculous, but your way is the best way Jerry. You’ve got three championships which everyone knows were all on you and your kid.
Thats absurd and you know it. Jerry has to spend the money allotted to players in the collective bargaining agreement. That is what the salary cap is all about. So, he can't pocket the 20M he'd save on OBJ anyway. He would have to spend it on another player.

Older free agent wants to sign largest deal with most GTD money... This is a non-story.
