PFT: Officially, Drew Brees is virtually certain to play

Yea, I heard that on SIRIUS Radio a little while ago. On the upside, Brees should be a stationary target for the pass rush (if one even exists).

That probably accounts for the huge collective sigh of relief I just heard outside my open window.

I am not worried about that. He's still wounded and has lost 6 straight games at home. If the Cowboys lose, it will be because of Weeden and/or the defense. I wouldn't feel any better if McCown were starting. But, if they can't get any pressure on the QB, either Brees or McCown will do well.

Jhari Evans might not play though which I think could be huge.

But you were ready to give up even if Brees sat this one out, weren't you? Good grief.

Please don't post in the game thread Sunday night, OK?

Actually no I never gave up. Im also realistic here. It would be a miracle if we are at 500 by the time Romo comes back.

And that is the problem, none exists

I know...maybe after the bye one will, though (I'm not counting on a whole lot from Hardy his very first game back, but a one game reprieve is ALL he's getting). By then, all hands should be back on deck at full-go.

I'll be there in the Superdome Sunday night, just like two years ago. I may flip out if something happens to Sean Lee again...

This is a better team than back then. The Saints have steadily gotten worse since our last meeting. The advantage is ours. The only question is whether everyone does their job well-enough to secure the win.

I guess some do not understand reality.

I'd prefer our chances with Romo and Dez, of course. But I wouldn't say these guys can't win a game, especially against this Saints defense. Unless something has dramatically changed since last week, Rob Ryan's defense SUCKS.

Man, people will come out of a coma to play Dallas.

We still got this game. He's not near 100% and he has a crappy Oline which probably caused his shoulder injury. Bring on these chumps, they were just as desperate last week vs Carolina. That means nothing. Our guys want it as bad as they do. It's a matter of execution and who does so more consistently.
