He's not playing this season. I mean, there's a slim chance he can if a team gets going in the postseason, but he's not even working out.

So unless it's for next season, I don't see the relevance.

Food for thought: Just to his right leg, he's had a toe injury, grade 3 high ankle sprain, ankle fracture, 2 grade 3 ACL tears, quad injury, 2 pull/sprains hamstrings, 1 hamstring grade 3 tear, 3 hips injuries and a groin pull.

Jeez he's gonna be hurting in his 50's. I would just be so concerned of a guy who won't work out.

Yeah, I don't see him worth a look until he's able to show he can run the routes. I believe that's why he's marketing himself. He probably knows that his value will drop dramatically if he gives teams a workout that looks awful.

It would not surprise me at all. That’s how they operate. If he has no option but a small deal for just this year, then they would likely be interested just to keep him out of Dallas and the chance of him being ready in the playoffs. He might just be ticked enough that Dallas leaked his less than stellar current physical condition that he would take less and go there and try and stick it to Jerry.

Not sure why they would want him as they are getting Goedert back in a week giving them a top three of Brown, Smith and Goedert.

At this point, OBJ is being shady enough that I wonder if he would even be a factor this year, regardless of where he ends up.
My guess is if we do sign him, its more for 2023

Not a major injury. They don't need OBJ. Neither do the Cowboys for that matter

I was for adding him to what I feel is a lesser wide receiver group than the Cowboys have had. But the more reports I hear about where he’s at physically right now, the less enthusiastic I become.

Agree. He’s testing the waters re a “ fools promise” with no workout to show he is physically capable.

Good. He isn't going to play this year and Philly's reckless spending streak is going to put them in a tough situation in the next year.

Howie is playing like he has salary cap turned off.

I'm sure they're fine with that if they're hoisting up another superbowl trophy. They've won a superbowl, fell off and already rebuilt into a contender. Meanwhile we haven't gotten out of the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I'm just trying to make myself feel better about the fact Philly very well may win another this year haha.

I'm thinking we should just give him some kind of deal that's based upon whether he actually plays for not. If he's injured and never hits the field, no pay.

I don't know what Odell would bring, but I'm more for the aggressive approach of the Rams and Philly. We have a rare window to win a superbowl and I wish the FO would actually do something instead of penny pinching and trying to put a bargain team out there.

Good the Eagles can have him. Honestly I do not see all the hype for OBJ. He's had 2 ACL's surgeries, he wont be in football shape, he wouldn't know the playbook, he has no chemistry with Dak and he's going to want too much money for a guy with all those red flags. Don't want him, don't need him. Let him be other teams problem.
