They aren’t hindered by looming contracts and salary caps…

Not sure why they would want him as they are getting Goedert back in a week giving them a top three of Brown, Smith and Goedert.

At this point, OBJ is being shady enough that I wonder if he would even be a factor this year, regardless of where he ends up.
No way howie signs him unless it is on the cheap.

Yeah, I don't see him worth a look until he's able to show he can run the routes. I believe that's why he's marketing himself. He probably knows that his value will drop dramatically if he gives teams a workout that looks awful.

It's a dirty tactic and an attempt for him to cash in without doing a damn thing for the foolish club that signs him.

I predict NO ONE is that stupid, but you never know. Lol

Everything I've ever read about Howie is he is a master at trades, mediocre at drafting and the best in the biz at circumventing the salary cap. The guy just knows how to manipulate the money and is why he got the start in the business years ago.
yea. But they have the hurts contract looming and about 8 important defensive players hitting free agency. He will earn his money this offseason

They just said on the NFL Network that when asked about it, someone in the Philly front office said that they like their guys.

That isn’t a joke. They literally said that.

So the NFL Network is now reporting Philly not interested.

Absolutely. There is no way to get around a 200 million dollar contract. They are going to lose a bunch of players on that D. I completely agree.

I can't figure out why they would want him. The guy has had about 7-8 injuries it seems and probably not ready to play any meaningful football.

No one is even sure if he can play any more. If we pass on him, we must have a reason, like he is not healthy. In that case philthy can have him.

How about not get rid of Cooper, but since that's already done, we have to look to next year. I wish we were obsessed with speed, would be so much easier.

He's not playing this season. I mean, there's a slim chance he can if a team gets going in the postseason, but he's not even working out.

So unless it's for next season, I don't see the relevance.

Food for thought: Just to his right leg, he's had a toe injury, grade 3 high ankle sprain, ankle fracture, 2 grade 3 ACL tears, quad injury, 2 pull/sprains hamstrings, 1 hamstring grade 3 tear, 3 hips injuries and a groin pull.
and a partridge in HIS pear tree......

They don't need him but Philly actually has an FO who wants to win a superbowl and is willing to take steps to make their team better. I wouldn't be surprised if they get him just so we don't.

If we wanted him, we would have had him. Obviously, we said it wasn't worth it... so the Eagles wouldn't be keeping OBJ from us. They can have the twice torn ACL diva that refused to work out for 3 different teams.

Enough with this guy.

He just wants a signing bonus check right now….one way or the other.

Isn't it clear to everyone by now that OBJ is not playing in 2022 and likely will be be ready for the playoffs either? This is his second surgery on the same knee. It is not the same as the first surgery. It takes longer to recover and there is a greater risk of reinjury. He might also be missing some movement in his knee which could prevent him from running as fast or making sharp cuts. No one would be foolish enough to sign him to a contract without seeing him work out first.

Until he can get on a field and run some routes full speed no one will sign him and expect him to play.
