Twitter: PFT says watch out for OBJ to Philly

They just said on the NFL Network that when asked about it, someone in the Philly front office said that they like their guys.

That isn’t a joke. They literally said that.

So the NFL Network is now reporting Philly not interested.
That's awesome. Not Philly ruling him out. It's awesome that they said we like our guys and when you related that information, you had to confirm it wasn't a joke. Hilarious. You know what's going to happen. In 40 or 50 years, hopefully I'll live that long, I'll get dementia and in my dementia state in the nursing home all I'll hear is Jerry lipsmaking saying "we like our guys" and I'll have no idea who it is. I'll be there guy in the corner rocking back and forth saying "we like our guys". Then I'll get a shot and go to bed just repeat the experience the next day.

I could be wrong but i dont see a playoff team with an already good passing game adding OBJ, who only may be ready by the WC or Divisional Round. The juice isnt worth the squeeze. This whole thing has been a charade for everyone. He should just wait until the FA signing period in 2023 when physically ready.

Dude ain't ready to play. The entire NFL knows that. He's basically getting free plane rides and a hotel room to fly around the States and that's better then sitting on the couch.

I wish Philly luck getting him on the field. Let THEM spend huge money for a Unicorn.

to your points, if he were ready and "cleared", dont ya think a team would have already made him an offer by now? That would have already leaked to the media. The mere fact that he has 0 offers is telling and lends much Creedence to what Jerry and the team doctors have said, which is public knowledge if one is willing to simply listen.

He told Parsons that he’ll be ready to lay in 5 weeks. You can’t work in a guy who isn’t ready to play until round1 of the playoffs. This isn’t baseball or even basketball. He would need at least 2 games prior to the playoffs. And him saying he’ll be ready, and actually being cleared by a team’s training staff are two totally different things. He isn’t working out for teams (red flag), nor is he or anyone associated with him posting clips of him working out on social media (and you know he would if it was relevant). Dude ain’t playing this year. If he was able to play, he’d already be a Cowboy.

With all the receivers they have, and the fact that he might not be ready until 2023, I highly doubt it. Of course if they do, you COULD safely say they are truly worried about us. Obsessed, actually.
cowboys are maybe the 2nd best team in the NFC and possibly the entire NFL behind the eagles, why woudlnt they be worried about staying on top? not to mention the eagles and cowboys could play 3 times a year for a good while from now on. we will see.

Florio has been actively campaigning against Beckham to the Cowboys.

First, he tried to falsely accuse Dallas of leaking information about Beckham’s health and football readiness. It’s easy to look up earlier information about that - Giants reporter Ralph Vacchiano for one - that came out before the guy ever visited Dallas. But that destroys his narrative so it’s ignored.

Second, he’s pushing this story he concocted about OBJ to the Eagles for veteran minimum.

Maybe the guy is in Howie Roseman’s picket or something, but he clearly has an agenda.

I called him out on it but my comment was blocked by his moderators.

So if OBJ heads to Philly.. then they traded up to draft WR Devontae Smith ..and traded a No. 1 for AJ Brown ..what/which WR would be taking a back seat to Beckham ?

Would Philly simply be getting involved in OBJ, simply because divisional nemesis Dallas Cowboys are involved ..?
Being the nosy neighbor looking over our side fence to spy what we are doing ?

OBJ only wants to play for a team in the playoff hunt. Philly meets that requirement. That said, I don't see Philly doing this. They are going to have serious cap problems headed their way soon.
