No QB, WR is a problem child and RB is a free agent.......they could get a boatload for Watts and rebuild from there.

I agree with everything you say but Watt value . Seems injuries might be creeping up on him . You may get a high draft pick , one pick

I have great respect for Tomlin. His record speaks for itself but replacing Fields with Wilson was definitely a bad move. The Rooneys will never fire him and if they did he would not want to coach Dallas and the Jones's s#$t show for darn sure.

He's never seen this kind of pressure for his job. Maybe it's time for both, he and the Steelers to part ways.
FYI....there were a couple of nuggets out there last week suggesting McCarthy would be the perfect replacement .........Pitt being his hometown

They’ve been screaming it for a few years now. Tomlin has his loyal fan base. Soon as he gets fired he will be picked up. I’d love him in Dallas. But he’s the opposite of what this team hires.

The flip side of this is how smart does Sean Payton look? He will have the Broncos in the Championship game within 3 years.
Broncos way and I mean WAY overpaid for Russ and crippled multiple drafts. And massively overpaid him. Then gave him away and still continued to pay him this year. Mismanaged that whole mess and Payton was smart enough to let him go.

But look where they already are and could be after a W today. Most thought they would be lucky to win 4-5 games this year. I don't think they will beat Buffalo, but Payton should win HC of the year and the fans in Denver have to be damn near giddy about the future.

Steelers are like the Cowboys. Held back by a poor QB room. However of the Steelers GM or HC has been chosing QBs in recent years needs to go.

Yeah,
Tomlin hasn't found his next Roethlisberger yet.
And McCarthy hasn't found his next Rodgers.

But other than that similarity I'm taking Tomlin all day every day and twice on Sunday over McFraud.
Just can't ever envision Tomlin as an Aw Shucks Mr. Jones, yes man puppet that fat boy is.

There are some highly respected posters here who say Payton and McCarthy are one in the same because of similar won/loss records.
I'm not one of them.
Payton>McFraud.

By a great deal imo.

+1 ......it appears he has found his Drew Brees and has the defensive play of the year in Surtain. What he has done this season is amazing, especially considering where this team was a couple of years ago AND being in the same division with Mahomes.
