Yes, that's telling him Stephen!
Gregory sure knows who is boss now!

Honestly I'd cut him. I have 0% trust in this guy
Agree with the article that Gregory has to assume mucho responsibility.
But at the same time I wonder about the support-network supplied by both the Cowboys and Gregory's agent.
Agree....
Where were the people who was supposed to be watching him? You can't tell me someone didn't know what was going on....that hippy lettuce does give off a certain aroma.
Pretty hard to hide.
Which should throw up another flag. Either he is hidding the fact he was smoking it....or the Cowboys knew about it....and didn't do anything about it until now.
This whole situation just sickens me as a die hard fan. At some point you just have to look into the mirror and decide if I want to continue to be a fan of this BS. It's getting to that point people.....
The team deals with the truth, but doesn't hide it. They attempt to protect their own players.
Blame games completely aside, the talent of Gregory deserves an earnest try to salvage...looking back:
- "Just 24 years old."
"A pass rusher with some good raw ability."
"Stage 3 substance abuse, the next violation gets him a year suspension."
"Selfish player who can't put down the pipe."
The player I just described was Von Miller, two years ago...

They forgot this part
2011 - 11.5 sacks
2012 - 18.5 sacks
"Some good raw ability" - No, Miller was one of the best linebackers in the league by the time he was 24. Randy Gregory is simply a high draft who has yet to produce with off the field issues. This is not someone I think the Cowboys should be giving multiple chances to. Another screw up by him, it's time to fill his roster spot with someone who produces.

Cutting him would send the right kind of message... get back to acquiring the right kind of guys.

If he really does have clinical anxiety, then it's no joke. I've known people with anxiety, and they've done worse than smoking up.
However, if he really does have clinical anxiety, they make actual medication for that.

We have a zero tolerance policy. One strike and you lose your job. Really easy to abide by. Very, very few people ever cross the line.
Seems the more chances you give someone the more likely they will abuse those chances.
Maybe he was just having anxiety about getting tested. LolI agree. Especially since the next time caught is supposed to be a 10-game ban.
I really don't buy into this anxiety deal.
He supposedly failed the test 4 times. I could see if it was an anxiety issue that he might fail it 4 times over say a 5 year period....even a 2-year period. But in less than a year?
Sorry, I don't buy it. Cut him and move on.

I don't buy the anxiety problem causing you to get high. Just an excuse
