Yeah, I like the things he is doing in the film "breakdown." He does show some hustle. And on some plays, he looks like the best linemen on the d-line. I can see what the coaches see. But it's like you said, he has to put it all together. I think this is his year.

This is another reason why I think the Cowboys wanted to wait to see what they had before breaking the bank to add anyone. We might just have all the players we need, in house.

This proves little. First, who knows if the Pats even really wanted him. Too, them wanting him doesn't mean he can play. Maybe they saw him as low risk, high reward player with a small, but at least possible, chance to play to his expectations.

It is pretty funny watching the lengths people will go to try to defend Hill at this point. He's basically a guy who fits into that JAG to decent backup category. That's it.

I’m optimistic about this season with him but then he will likely be gone. But if we get what he’s capable of, out of him this year it’s gonna be a big impact

I wasn't making a big deal about Hill. I'm sort of impartial about the player. I was only really asking which player would lose a spot to Suh in the event that we ended up signing him.

I'm not defending him. As some say he may not even make the team. But I'm hoping he shows enough upside to keep him. I can see his ability; he just hasn't put it together.

I wouldn't even calling it "banking" on Hill. Planning on using Hill as a significant player is announcing you don't believe DT is an important position.

To me, Quinn isn't really a good fit since we already have Dante Fowler. Players have similar traits.

Quinn did well in a 3-4, 4-3 hybrid in Chicago. Our defense will have a similar look but it'll be big Nickle, so it seems to me that Fowler is more suited for our defense. Wouldn't it be nice if Fowler alone out-sacked Randy Gregory in Denver?

And we get Williams in the draft? That would make my day. If we can match Gregory's production with those two players, it'll make it easier for the WRs to replicate last year's offensive stats, minus Cooper and Wilson.

What are the odds? I know, but it's certainly possible since it seems to be Quinn who pushed for the player who has traits he likes. I can see why he did that. Now I want to see him pull it off.

The primary reason I think we can compete this year is because our defensive front as a whole, and the talent in our secondary. That, and we seemed to have plugged some holes on the offensive line, and added depth, role players.

All he is at this point is a name...he's old, takes plays off and is not effective...stop buying the hype

I wouldn't go there -- he's not the cost-effective guy that this FO longs for. There's also a movement under way to seek out the younger players for future solidarity. Suh is nowhere near being in that category, at age 35.
