:lmao2: Just get ready for it..sorry. Once September rolls around you'll be having him in your signature.

I must admit he looks good in the Yahoo Draft videos that have just been posted

IMO, Loadholt is another Kevin Gogan, and if he finds success in the NFL, it's more likely to be at OG than at RT...

Which is not a knock on him...

And I guess Chung looks servicable in his....

Your gunna love Delmas! He'll be a fan favorite in his first game. The type of safety we've been missing for awhile

He reminds me of Irvin, never more so than when I see clips of him working the sidelines, and running slants... the Playmaker was the best at that; his ability to work the sidelines, tapdance to keep both feet in while making the catch, is what made him able to beat DBs deep... they'd bite on that out move, because they didn't dare not bite on it...

And later in the draft, Quan Cosby really conjures up memories of Kelvin Martin... same height, same kind of speed, the biggest difference is Quan has a more muscular build... and both were effective in the return game...

That comparison only occurred to me last night, I think it's an apt comparison...

Yeah, Nicks reminds me of Irvin/Boldin also. He's such a physical player. Someone's going to get a steal if he drops. BTW, Drew Boylhart has Quan rated as a 1st rd talent. Quan is one of his favorite WRs in the draft. He believes that Quan has just as much quickness and WR skills as Steve Smith, and projects him to be a future probowl player as a slot WR. He says Quan will impact immediately and won't need much/any time to develop. He's ready to go now. He says Quan won't go until around the 4th round, but he has 1st rd talent and will have a major impact the 1st day he steps on the field.

My brother is a huge Titans fan and he spends alot of time on alot of the Titans websites and he told me that he is hearing that the Titans love Nicks.

The Titans draft at #30, so he may not make it to us at #51.

Just FYI for anybody that is interested.

I think Hakeem Nicks would be a guy that they would look to move up for, too.

The knock on him is quickness. Will he be able to separate against tight NFL coverage? Plus, he showed up over weight at his pro day. Do you think Jerry paid him?

He does run great routes, and he's physical. Boldin is a good comparison. He looks like a hybrid WR/TE to me. He is a power or possession guy who can work the middle. He isn't a speed demon as most of you already know.

If he has a first round grade and you can get him in round 2, I can understand wanting to move up for him.

William Beatty would be another one to watch, but tackles rise.

I would say:

Hakeem Nicks
William Beatty
Louis Delmas
Phil Loadholt

Two of those guys were mentioned by Mosley.

But in effect don't we have that already with Martellus Bennett.

I agree you cannot draft a "Michael Irvin" in the second round he would be a top ten pick unless we are playing the game idiocracy, so let's move on with these comments, Brinkley looks realistic, I guess Delmas/Chung/Johnson if you had to bet makes more sense. I know some of you are not in favor of Tate, he is the hit or miss guy who could be the steal of the entire draft if his knee and head get in alignment.
We have work to do, Phillie just got a lot better and Washington will be pushing up the middle like we have never seen them before, Giants look to stuff us and pound us on defense, lets draft for substance to get through the NFCbeast. No time for glamour this year.

With running back widely considered the Cardinals’ greatest need, we hear two rookie runners who are either at the top or near the top of the team’s wish list are Georgia’s Knowshon Moreno, who probably won’t be available to the Cardinals unless they somehow move way up in the first round, and Connecticut’s Donald Brown, who is considered a much more realistic target at the Cardinals’ current 31st spot in Round One.

The Cards usually don't have to pick this late in the draft so they are probably dumbfounded as to where their top-10 pick went. :lmao2:

People didn't think Gogan would be all that when he came out of college, either...

I usually don't care much for Boylhart's takes, and even I'm not that optimistic about Quan... like I said, I could see him offering Kelvin Martin-type potential to some team as a slot receiver and punt returner, and that would be great for the Boys...

In the right situation, I could see Cosby catching 50-60 passes a year... he'll also be one of the better blocking WRs around... the dude will hit you...

I think there is a very good chance Dallas moves up if there is a player they really like. We have no 1st but we do have 11 picks and if moving up a few spots to get a player you really like then do it

Agreed. Drew Boylhart(thehuddlereport.com) rates him as a 4th round prospect. Delmas has average skills, but tested well at the combine. However, according to Drew, Delmas hasn't faced top competition and the competition he has faced really took advantage of his agressiveness. Drew basically says that Delmas was constantly tricked by play action, and Delmas wasn't a smart player who lacked instincts and play recognition. Drew rates Chung, the kid from Alabama (Richardson?), and the kid from Missouri as top prospects. He calls the kid from Missouri the closest thing to Paulamalo in this draft, but that's going more off his junior season. He absolutely loves Sean Smith, and thinks he's a future probowl CB, but doesn't think he projects well to FS because of his lack of tackling and inability to put on the weight/muscle that the FS position demands. Also, he loves Chip Vaughn (west virginia?), and feels Chip will be a probowl type safety, in a year or two, after he works on his negatives and becomes a complete player.

FYI: Drew rates players strictly from game film only. He doesn't go by combine numbers or testing.

I made the mistake of signing up with thehuddlereport last year, and learned my lesson. Drew also had I believe it was Lavelle Hawkins as the best WR in the draft last year.

Hos I'm just curious why you think Nicks would be worth trading up for. Do you think he could be more useful then say Darius Heyward-Bey or Kenny Britt or Brian Robiskie. I really haven't seen that much of Nicks to say I want him or I don't want him.

Local kid from Charlotte really went "off" against WVU in that bowl game. Played with very average QB's in college. Of course, the comparison to Irvin is running wild. He does have incredible hands.

I can't see anyway he gets to 51. I think that is why the speculation of Dallas moving up.
