Pretty hard to be considered for the All-Criminal Team when Sean's never been convicted of a crime in his life.

Okay what about this guy:
Times Select Content PETERS OF Commanders SEIZED IN DRUG CASE UPI

Tony Peters, a Washington Commander safety who has not missed a start in his 115-game National Football League career, was arrested at the team's training camp today and charged with conspiring to sell cocaine. Peters, 30 years old, was accused in a scheme involving seven others in which about four pounds of cocaine, valued at $115,000, were sold at motels in Washington's Virginia suburbs in June and July. Authorities said that Peters had received $3,000 for ''facilitating the sales.''

There were a lot of guys on there that were never convicted. Get a grip.

Conviction in a criminal court is not a requisite for this team. Being convicted in the court of public opinion seems to work just as well and that certainly applies to Sean Taylor.

Tell me what crime OJ was convicted of committing.

Or Michael Irvin. Remember the premise is convictions.

Mark Chmura, convicted of what?

Ray Lewis, there a conviction there?

How about LT? Tell me about his convictions.

Romo? Bad guy, but convicted?

Your reading comprehension skills leave so much to be desired that it simply isn't even comical. Open your mouth again so you can change your feet.

a plea deal is still a conviction

wikipedia said:
plea bargain is an agreement in a criminal case in which a prosecutor and a defendant arrange to settle the case against the defendant. The defendant agrees to plead guilty or no contest (and often allocute) in exchange for some concession from the prosecutor. This concession can include reducing the original charge or charges, dismissing some of the charges against the defendant or limiting the punishment a court can impose on the defendant. Generally, a plea bargain allows the parties to agree on the outcome and settle the pending charge. In colloquial terms this is known as "copping a plea".

OK, how could Sean Taylor be considered considering he has never been a defendant in a trial. He was never involved in a drug-related case. He was only accused of brandishing a weapon by a punk thief.

The lame charges of a petty crime in Sean's case don't compare to the types of crimes from the players on the list - many of which were actually convicted.

I don't know what you constitute as a "petty" crime, but a felony isn't "petty", face it dude, if the guy chose to put ST on the team, only Commander fans would be complaining about it

and again, re-read the roster, not everyone on it was convicted of a crime

Take off the burgandy and gold glasses. This is getting sillier. Pointing a gun at another human being is worse than most of the stuff on that list. Way worse. You're talking about something that could end a life. Quit excusing it. It isn't a freaking video game where the guy gets back up next time you play. Pull your head out of the dark smelly place.

I wonder what Skin fans would be saying about ST if he were a Cowboy?

I bet I could answer that one...

it's amazing that only Commander fans constitute a felony as petty in the case of ST, the man-love has no bounds

C'mon man, its a gag site, its a gag list, and no one is saying Sean Taylor was convicted of a crime.

He appeared in court as the defendant. Granted the guy who accused him may not be a member of the community in high standing. He still had charges filed against him.

Article
...Taylor, who appeared in court in a tan pinstriped suit and open-neck dress shirt, told Judge Leonard Glick in a crowded courtroom that he accepted the deal reluctantly.

defendant

n : a person or institution against whom an action is brought in a court of law; the person being sued or accused.

Just get over it.

I love how Commander fans conveniently forget their own sordid past when making snide "Crackboys" comments.

You are right.

He plead out of it so he didn't have to go to trial.

Oh wait, let me guess. He really didn't want to plea, he just decided it was best for his team to just take the hit.
