Philly hasn't lost one starter for the year, yet some of you people are creaming yourself. I don't get it?

How does LJ Smith pulling a groin affect us? Last I checked we aren't playing them in the preseason, and who cares about those games anyway?

I'm pretty confident we can play with a healthy Eagles team this year. Obviously some don't share my confidence, and feel they need to lose key players before we can compete. That's sad. I wonder if they are celebrating Glenn who is actually injured more than any of their players. They probably are, but I would expect better of our fan base.

Personally, I don't like injuries, PERIOD.

I really hope LJ is OK. For the record, I'm not vindictive like most of those Eagles fans-so I hope the best for him. If anything, it's no more than a false alarm.

Wow that REALLY sucks... LJ is a really talented player whos injuries make him inconsitent. That is a blow to them for sure. I don't know why they didn't try to get him the ball more. Too bad for him; hope he isn't permanently damaged.

I completely agree-like I said in my above post pretty much, just b/c the entire crowd of 72K+ at Vet Stadium CHEERED LOUDLY over Michale Irvin's injury, DOESN'T give us the right to be celebrating over an Eagles injury.(Even McNabb said that day that that was the most disgusting thing he ever witnessed)

If anything, I would prefer LJ to play for another division, not our's. With that being said, I hope he's OK.

I was sitting in the living room with about eight Eagles fans when it happened. They erupted with cheers, and I don't fault them for that. Any good fan is going to cheer a great hit. It's some of the fans in their stadium that cheered when he was being carted off the field that made it disgusting. It might have only been a few thousand, it doesn't matter. It showed just how low some of those people can be, and reflected poorly on their entire fan base.

That's why we police ourselves here. A few losers don't speak for the majority.

lol, you know who it was directed to, and it wasn't you. And yes, I grabbed my Sack last year when we lost a key Defensive End.

kinda felt good until we started losing, but I digress.

You're doing a great job in standing up for your team and your perspective. Understanding that you are on an opponent team's board is the first step in fielding some of the remarks that you're pulling from some posters. Secondly, you're going to bring out some ugly, unnecessary comments for just being an Eagles' fan ..you've got to know that.

But I'm impressed by how you are handling yourself. Simply ignore those who seem classless; you'll find posters like that on any given board.

That said, it's one thing to be excited about wanting to circumvent an injury-vactaed position on your opponent's team, but quite another to celebrate the injury of an opponent player by depicting bouncing head emoticons, and classless comments.

Regardless of what you think about how fans should or should not react to an opponent player's injury, these guys have families just like all of us. They have people who are hurt emotionally as a result of these player injuries. Too many fans view these injuries superficially. In reality, these matters go far beyond the football field and into the homes of everyday people.

Fans from who support any franchise sicken me when they show their total disregard for anyone injured ...disgustingly selfish acts of immaturity (from any fan base).
