Zimmer loved Buchanan, one of the scouts and Zimmer got into a huge fight over it....can't rem why I know that...

I also recall he had a "bad" attitude on his visit and something about his T-shirt he wore to the visit, I think it was another teams t-shirt or something.

The trade that brought him to Houston is indeed when they let Glenn go.

He wore a Minnesota Vikings T-Shirt when he visited the cowboys.

I can't believe anyone here would want this guy.

Not only was he just released form one of the worst secondaries in the league, he gets bruises getting out of bed in the morning. Wuss. No thanks.

I can't believe it either, he's not even that great of a returner, I know Pat Crayton sucks and we can't use TNew that often, but c'mon

The Texans released Aaron Glenn, and he has been awesome for us.

Buchanon has the talent to succeed, and we have one of the best secondary coaches in the NFL in Todd Bowles. I wouldn't be too upset if we gave him a look.

hes only 26, still has talent, he can return punts, how could parcells at least not considering bringing him in? he'd give that secondary some insurance

1.) The guy has more injuries than TO and JJ would sustain in a plane crash.

2.) He's a prima donna. The worst kind...the kind that can't stay healthy long enough to prove they belong in the league.

3.) The Texan's released Glenn to make room for this clown...guess who got the shaft on that move.

4.) I've heard from a reputable source that he's NOT a "Parcell's guy."

Well, all I know is that he had a fractured wrist and then some ankle issues. I don't know how they were sustained, but they don't sound like dinky little bruises that are causing him to miss time.

3.) The Texan's released Glenn to make room for this clown...guess who got the shaft on that move.
Oh, it was definitely a dumb move to let Glenn go.

But who is to say that they aren't making the same kind of mistake with Buchanon? They certainly can't be credited for impeccable roster moves in the past several years.

4.) I've heard from a reputable source that he's NOT a "Parcell's guy."
Well, he certainly doesn't seem like one up to this point in his career.

All I am saying is that the kid has talent. He hasn't lived up to expectations so far, for sure...but I think he *could* be something.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not clamoring for him to be here by any means. At best, I think he could come in and be our #5 CB. But who knows what could happen with some good coaching.

It, IMO, would be a low-risk, potentially high-reward acquisition. I certainly put my faith in our personnel guys, though, and if they don't give him a look I will trust that they don't see much potential there.

Eman, the only thing I'd say is that I think this Texans staff is WAY better than the clueless one (ahem, Casserly) that was there before.

I bet there was more than just bad play behind this. Buchanon always had a rep for being late, not paying attention in meetings, stuff like that.

Well, I question how we would know if it is better than it was when Casserly was around. I mean, he stuck around until after the draft...how many moves have they made since then for us to judge?

And I have certainly heard about Buchanon's issues. However, we wouldn't be bringing him in to start or anything like that. He could ride the pine, get coached up, and potentially become something for us. Or, he could continue his ways and we could jettison him without even thinking about it.

Low-risk, potentially high-reward.

Rector got cut and Green looked bad in the return game. Buchannon woud be a great return man comparatively speaking from anything we've seen around here, in quite awhile.

As Dallas fans saw Sunday, a pretty firery player who can take some punishment. Wow, I never thought he would get cut, what a surprise.

HURRY BILL, SIGN HIM JERRY!

If he's only going to return punts, ok. He should never be on the field in the secondary when the game is still in doubt though. A guy who is called P-Burnt(he has definitely earned it) by his own fans isn't a guy you want in the secondary.

This guy is a slackard.

He hasn't been a professional in his approach since the day he was drafted.

Worlds of ability and a $.10 brain.

please...Buchanon got beat on a bomb by a 260lb FB one yr

this guy is a mammoth bust...I remember some people wanted us to spend our #1 one him, thankfully that didnt happen

I dont know who is dumber, the Raiders for drafting him where they did or the Texans for trading multiple picks to get him
