Holy. Cow.
Turns out my mother was in a movie with this guy and I didn't even realize it. A 1992 really bad Steve Martin movie called "Leap of Faith" had Debra Winger, Lolita Davidovich, Meat Loaf, Liam Neeson, Philip Seymour Hoffman (as "Matt"), and, er, my mom (uncredited extra). My mom was in the beginning of the movie walking down a street and had a spoken line at the very, very end of the film, kneeling and saying Thank You Jesus (for the rain). They filmed most if not all of this movie in the Amarillo, Tx area, where we lived, so my mom was like, why not try out? But I was just rewatching it (yeah, to see mom) and the end credits rolling by, and wow, there is Hoffman's name. Boggle.
