Sorry guys, this fan still isn't into man worship of a bunch of green guys walking around with ring tapping arrogance printed on their foreheads!

Go Cowboys, and fans shouldn't be too concerned about a 4+ scoring advantage over allowed!!

My point of view is for 1..Philly hasn't played a defense like DAL, I'm just saying. I see a defense giving up 5 yards a carry, so that's what the Cowboys offense is going attack. If PHI stacks the box Rush will take his shots it's that simple. Should be a good game, very winnable.

Our offense is overmatched vs the Philly D. They are fast and deep. Playing them on the road? Tough task for Rush and teams are starting to tighten the noose on him, taking away everything easy and forcing him to beat them outside the numbers.

I just see them loading the box, stopping the run, and then pressuring Rush on long down and distances. If we are to have ANY chance of scoring consistently, Rush is going to have to make some ballsy calls at the LOS against a heavy box, and then hurt Philly deep to make them back off.

On the flip side, Philly has enough speed, mobility, and playmakers to spread out the D and distribute the ball quickly. We have got to play well vs the run and make them one dimensional and hope to force multiple turnovers to give the offense some short fields.

The Philly OL IS nicked up, so we may be able to do some damage, but holding them to 17 would be considered outstanding. Hard to see Rush and the offense doing enough on the road to top that unfortunately.

OK, so we raise the white flag??? You sound as if you've given up? We all know the limitations in the Offense, however, to this point it's provided enough.

Suggestions please.... or just let the game play out, take the inevitable loss and we'll regroup verses the Lions.

Spot on, it's set up for our gameplan.....run first, then pass to make Defense honest if they stack the box. It appears that Rush and his limitations has enough to at least worry a Defense into not sacrificing the coverage.

Yes, yes Rush's raw stats 10/16 dont look spectacular, but the passes (and the two drops) were enough to worry the Defense and that's all it needs. That's all we'll need from Dak when he returns....make the Defense honest.

Their defense allowed 25 ppg last season and 27 ppg so far this season,

I DESPISE it when fans post nonsense, especially to start a thread.

THE FACTS: Eagles defense has allowed 17.6 points per game over 5 games in 2022.

The eagles aren't that good assign spies to Hurt and we kill these guys.
Honestly I'm more worried about Detroit being a trap game especially with Dak coming back

White flag? No. Tap the breaks on the “we are so much better than the Eagles” and “Rush is a better QB than Dak!” narratives? Yes.

I hope we crush our opponents every game. But realistically this game raises a lot of concerns for me in regards to our offensive output

Philadelphia has competed against much better offenses than the Cowboys.

The Cowboys have yet to compete against an offense whose point production is ranked in the top half of the league. The Eagles have played teams that are presently ranked #3, #15 and #12.

The Eagles are ranked #5 in producing points, the Cowboys are #3 in preventing points but #24 in producing points.

The Eagles played the #4 ranked defense and scored 29 points.

The Eagles defense doesn't have the pressure of compensating for a wounded offense. The Cowboys defense did improve their rushing stats somewhat but are not nearly as dominant as some have been suggesting. Opponent rushers have averaged 4.7 yards a carry.

Almost every facet of the Eagles productivity is ranked in the top 7.

Even if the Cowboys defense can hold the Eagles to under 20, which I seriously doubt, the Cowboys with Cooper Rush cannot sustain enough drives to keep up. For the Cowboys to have a chance at winning, they will need Dak Prescott.

Wow, the Eagles are that good. They scored 29 points against a good defense who also allowed 28 to a not so great team in Washington and did pitch a shutout to an offense that is horrible no matter who they play against.

The fact is that the Eagles offense struggle to score once the other team have figured them out (especially the 2nd half).

Regarding the Cowboys not playing against a great offense yet, give the Cowboys credit on their defense against those high powered offenses media and some posters believed at the beginning of the season. I believe the defense matchup well to Philly O but it is up to the Cowboys offense to control the clock, and I believe that they can because they have faced some great defenses already.

No. 16.2. There was a pick 6 in there.

You may hope but your post appears extremely negative.
There are very few Rush is better than Dak posts (other than confirmed Trolls).
Trying to make a case for Dak by discrediting Rush is both unnecessary and dismissive of what we've done and where we are.
It sounds as if you take pleasure in going into detail how with Rush, we won't beat the Eagles

Their defense allowed 25 ppg last season and 27 ppg so far this season, a lot of it probably has to do with the tempo and the chunk yards their offense gets - but this Cowboys team hasn’t changed THAT much from last year when we put up 92 total points to their 47. I would feel 10x more comfortable with Dak at QB, but if Rush doesn’t turn the ball over & we convert 50%+ on 3rd down, we win this game and I don’t think it’s close (17 point win).
Their defense is allowing 17.6 ppg, not 27.

Force Hurts to beat you passing. While he is improved as a passer, he is still not a true top 15 passing QB in this league. Their O-Line is banged up. Attack them. Force Hurts to make quick decisions. On offense, just stop dropping the ball! we will win by 10 points. Book it.

Unlike some teams, no way Philly will let Rush stand back there to pass. They improved their secondary in free agency for one reason….to play man to man so they can bring the heat. They will make every effort to stop the run and will blitz regularly to take advantage of Cooper’s lack of mobility.

If Dallas struggles to run, they better let Rush pass on first down and in short yardage situations.

Yes. You're probably going to play a bit more man coverage this game than others, so you can assign more defenders to the line of scrimmage and spy Hurts.

I think it was an honest mistake. He was looking at offensive scoring when he thought he was looking at defensive
