You may hope but your post appears extremely negative.
There are very few Rush is better than Dak posts (other than confirmed Trolls).
Trying to make a case for Dak by discrediting Rush is both unnecessary and dismissive of what we've done and where we are.
It sounds as if you take pleasure in going into detail how with Rush, we won't beat the Eagles

I just don’t underestimate our opponents. Any of them. And while I love what our D is doing and am happy to give credit to Rush for playing within the system and not hurting us with killer mistakes— I am not going to put on rose colored glasses and pretend our offense is playing well.

Its not. The running game is working for the most part, but the passing game is anemic. Rush’s limitations are evident and while I hope for a W on Sunday— I think Philly is going to be a really, really tough game

Here’s to hoping

Their defense allowed 25 ppg last season and 27 ppg so far this season, a lot of it probably has to do with the tempo and the chunk yards their offense gets - but this Cowboys team hasn’t changed THAT much from last year when we put up 92 total points to their 47. I would feel 10x more comfortable with Dak at QB, but if Rush doesn’t turn the ball over & we convert 50%+ on 3rd down, we win this game and I don’t think it’s close (17 point win).

They've allowed 88 points in 5 games.

They score an average of 27 ppg.

Philly also seems to come out swinging, scoring early then holding on in the second half.

Our Defense can change this game, Hurts has not seen pressure like we can bring, and they have allowed some rushing so we need to be patient and not panic if they score. KM going Air raid at the first sign of a feagles lead is my biggest worry.

It’s already been shown that the eagles have faced better 2022 offences than have the cowboys.

Defense just needs to keep everything in front of them and spy Hurts on every passing down. Offense needs to take care the of the ball and pound the rock. They do that and it should be 4 straight wins against Philly.

But we are still winning.

We are but will we win when it matters most if the offense continues it’s lack of production and scoring? I don’t think so! We’re hanging in right now because of an outstanding defense that hasn’t given up more than one TD in any of our games. We haven’t given up more than 19 points in any game. At some point we’re going to need to score 25+ to win a game and it’s bound to happen more than once.

Thrilled to see that the NFC East is No longer the NFC Least. Too many years of feasting on the weak teams in the division and getting blown out in the playoffs.

Giving up only 17.6 points per game is pretty darn good considering they gave up 35 points to Detroit in the opener. The Lions were the highest scoring team heading into last Sunday. If we give up 35 points to anyone we’re done with Cooper Rush at QB. I’m not sure we’re capable of scoring 35 points with Dak at his best with our receivers.

The Eagles should be favored against us in this game. But if we can keep them under 20 points we might have a chance to win. Their defense is also the best we will face. I think we are able to run against them it might make things easier for us.

This is a game which Prescott would have done well. Also, Amari Cooper would have helped us out here as well. But he's no longer with the team and we need to find someone that can take on his production.

Sorry but I think this is a game which the Eagles will win. But the Cowboys do have a chance if they can keep the score close and within reach. Which they should be able to.

BY that logic we only allow 14.4

on the road we win 17-14??

I rather have Dak, se his last 9 but in particular, last 3 against the eagles, wasn't close..with rush this is what you get super low scoring tight until the buzzer

Rush hasn't turned it over yet so I feel with either one we will win the game. But with Dak, like you, I would feel more comfortable. Maybe not 10 times more though. Lol Our offense is boring with running a "Rush Friendly" offense, but with the D playing lights out, it's working. I would like to see Dak running a scaled back version of his "Dak Friendly" offense. We don't need to throw the ball 35/40 times a game anymore, IMO. The stats Romo/Dak put up didn't get us anywhere. We won on Sunday not having a great statistical game on offense.

But brother I like your view of this game. By 17? Let's do it, baby! I believe you!!

GO COWBOYS!!!!

Haven’t looked at stats but guessing our Defense is giving us more drives by getting 3 and outs or getting opposing offenses off the field. We need to get points off of those drives. I know I am being critical but as we play harder teams it’s important to get these points.. Especially if we make the playoffs..
