I said our first round, of course we got the bye.

Did it mean anything......nope. Can't just sit here and think we are all that good, when we are losing players left and right with no upgrades even mentioned. The 'look to the draft' mentality, well they have draft picks too. Hope we aren't cocky enough to think every single draft will be like last years draft.
But the team you're freaking out about got destroyed and are losing players too. This happens every season. There have been hundreds of posts predicting tis exact reaction because many here are actually able to learn from past experiences. Past experience would suggest that sounding the alarm prior to free agency even starting might be slightly premature.

The eagles and skins are also losing solid players as well. It doesn't really matter what they do, all 3 are still looking up at the Cowboys.

It meant a lot of enjoyable Sundays this past season at my household. Certainly more enjoyable than in 2015.

Well I hope we steal someone is all I'm saying. Past experience, been on this board and the other one for almost 20 years, it says you need to have a good total offseason, not just hope we hit the lottery in the draft.

I still believe Marshall was easily the best addition by any team.

People need to be more worried about the Eagles than the Giants. With both Torrey and Jefferies, they are putting together a very nice receiving core for Wentz.

And its not like we were rolling them either, our first meeting went to OT and the second meeting we lost, although Garrett played the backups mostly.

Not saying anybody should panic, but the other teams in the East are not going to be pushovers. Even last year, all three of our losses were in the division where we went 3-3. So all these posts about how we are going to "run the East" are laughable

You wonder if Jones even realizes what's going on in the other NFCE front offices.

Stick to the plan. Bargain shopping commences in 2 weeks.

Gives them 3 of the worst 5 receivers from last season.

Smith is blah.

Jeffrey is a good signing for them. He greatly improves what was the worst WR corps in football last year. And they still might draft a WR in the first couple of rounds.

Yeah depending on Cousins, the Skins are the only one of the 3 that look worse. Your right about the Eagles games, and we lost twice to the Giants.

We don't run the East. We did well against everyone else, but the East. Giants are built to beat us. Eagles are close, especially having those WRs and we have 2 CBs. Giants draft some OL, and Eagles get a RB and a CB in the draft, we have alot to deal with.

Smith is a net negative I think. I know they like guys who drop balls but he's a drop a game guy. Jeffery is an upgrade. But he has significant injury history and already has a four game suspension.

Eagles really aren't built to beat us. Their defense is going to be worse this year. They don't have any CBs. They don't even have a Brown or Scandrick on their team. So they are going to have to try to fill their CB spots with rookies and cheap free agents. They also now will likely lose Bennie Logan who was a big help in their run defense.

They have more holes than we do and don't have any cap space left to make any more impact signings.
