Eagles really aren't built to beat us. Their defense is going to be worse this year. They don't have any CBs. They don't even have a Brown or Scandrick on their team. So they are going to have to try to fill their CB spots with rookies and cheap free agents. They also now will likely lose Bennie Logan who was a big help in their run defense.

They have more holes than we do and don't have any cap space left to make any more impact signings.

Yeah the Eagles are a bit different, they really need CBs.....just so happens this is a deep draft for CBs for not only us, but them too.

For them, it will be on Wentz's development. Also, if they lose Logan, then Zeke will go wild on them. Obviously, we have more to worry about with the Giants, but the Eagles are worth noting also.

According to others...no reason to panic.

How many games did the Bears and Jets win with Jeffery and Marshall last year? I know the QB situations with both teams were garbage, but I still think teams should be built and not bought.

The Jaguars have led the NFL in free agent spending for a few years in a row and have nothing to show for it. I'm not losing sleep over the Giants and Eagles' moves.

Smith is a net negative I think. I know they like guys who drop balls but he's a drop a game guy. Jeffery is an upgrade. But he has significant injury history and already has a four game suspension.
Virtually every Eagles receiver had more drops then Smith, and they don't have anyone that ran under a 4.5. Smith brings them that if nothing else, he stretches the field, and is above average at doing that.

Underestimating just how bad the Eagles receivers have been the last couple years.

Jeffrey is overrated.

The Cowboys will not any big moves in Free Agency. They don't do that. They will sign maybe a couple of players but they won't be big names. Got people hitting the panic button because the Eagles and the Giants added some players. Who cares? Let it play out a little bit

What will the Cowboys do to counter? The patriots won the Super Bowl and are churning their roster as I write this. We need at least one corner and another safety. The giants have Marshall and the Eagles are close to a deal with Jeffrey. Hopefully the Romo drama will be over soon and the market will have calmed down a bit allowing the front office to get some people in here and signed.

I've always felt Jeffery was overrated but if they go WR early in the draft - Jeffery, Davis, Smith - is a significant upgrade from the slop they had last year.

Still can't believe how many guys we have lost, and probably will lose.

Yet I guess Butler was more important. We haven't heard a thing about Carr and Mo hasn't signed anywhere yet.

We might need more than 2 CBs this season.

This is my concern as well. I don't care if the Giants can't block, they beat us twice last year. The eagles have significantly improved their wr core. I'm not jumping off a damn cliff , I'm watching everyone else sign our players and we're not even rumored to have anyone coming in other than Mccown.

They may go WR early but they also need a TB and need 2, maybe 3 CBs.

In fact, when all this is done, they may look a lot like us............. nice O, suspect D.
