After watching Dallas all year these playoff teams look like they are playing a completely different sport.

What will people say when a good championship game ends up being two great finesse teams?

My point was those two teams were so physical, .. they could not call that game the way they had been calling games this year.

That was a MAN'S game.

They don't like each other and it showed. There were guys laying on the field hurt on every series. Seattle is going to need 2 weeks to get ready to play again.

Like Dez, Lee, Smith, Murray, Frederick, Williams, Wilcox etc?

I am 100% for getting better and more physical along the lines but I wouldn't say we have been drafting a bunch of finesse players.

Don't forget Mo. He is a shining example of a physical player.

i don't care how many big boys we draft, jason garrett is not the right coach to implement physical football.

Players feed off of the intensity of their coach. It has even been said a team takes on the personality of a coach.

So you are right.

The Pats seem cerebrial, the 9ers and the Seahawks seem firey, intense, emotional, ... and the Lions are schmucks.

Just like their coaches. LOL

Yeah, I want a team that can dominate the trenches. If you can do that then you always have a chance.

When you can't run the ball or stop the run, you probably won't make the Super bowl. Dallas was 31st in the NFL in running the football and 27th in the NFL at stopping the run.

Umm.....Dallas ran the ball better on average than all of those teams mentioned. They ranked seventh in ypc. And Football focus rated the oline fourth best in the NFL.

It wasn't the oline's fault the braintrust of the team failed to let them finish games.

YPC doesn't mean squat. Cowboys were 31st in rushing offense. That's last. That's bad. That's not running the ball effectively

We do have a running game. I don't think there is any debate about that. But that defense......

Dallas never found out last season IF they have a running game. The coaches are too busy coaching scared in a game instead of taking back their jewels from their wives purses and manning up against the competition.. This team has been gutless for years. And, it continues..It's pathetic.

Too many here oversimplify to make a point rather than research and theorize from real data.
Or use their sarcasm every. single. post.
Whether that's because of laziness or agenda- it doesn't matter.
The simpletons and people who refuse to debate good points run rampant around here though and there is no getting around it.
I beg for some here to come back at responses like yours and get nothing but the vacuum of space.
I could name names, but they're too busy caring about "Likes" to worry about other things like making cognitive and successive sense and couldn't care less about what I say- so be it.

No offense to anybody in particular...
Just the truth.

That made no "sense" what so ever and was a wasted vacuum of space..

Hhahahaaaha..

Where's my "like" now?

And what happened when we went short yardage and tried to punch it in? No way our O line was even top 10 in run blocking.

And we are robots. I'd like to get a fiery team again but it has to naturally come from the head coach and seep down.

With the way our games get called if we played like either of those teams we'd lose that game going away because we'd draw a PI or a defensive holding every single down on defense. Last night's game was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in ages.

I agree that you need to run the football but those numbers/rankings are seriously skewed.

Kaep and Wilson scrambling and picking up yards on plays designed to be passes drive them up, and Peyton's run game is good because everyone fears the passing attack so much.

Its not as black and white as I think some people want to believe.
