Pickens' criticism is largely overstated

Why was PITT ready to dump him?
According to Pickens, Tomlin actually wanted him to return and play the final year of his deal as a Steeler and then they would decide his future. But they both agreed, a change would be good for him. I think Pick felt like the Steelers QB position was holding him back and so far, he was right.

Pickens is better than Dez ever was, and it's not even close
Don't disagree, though the sample size isn't quite there yet.

I'll never forget Romo having to drill the ball to Dez at the snap just to get him to pay attention.

Its been reported that he leaving the toilet seats up in the facility
He put the new toilet paper roll on the roller backwards.

He keeps forgetting to turn the lights off when he leaves a room.

He never shuts down the computer when he's finished with it.

You loser Cowboys 2025 fans can care all about this choir boy bull**** after 30 years of failure, I care about winning. And if we have to have some knuckleheads on the team in order to win, so ******* be it. I hate this wus fan base.
hello Clove my friend. Please stop beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.

You guys are insane
Not at all.

Dez was an enigma. Didn't like to put effort into his routes when his number wasn't called. Was great at jump balls, but wasn't above average at anything else. Poor route runner. Overrated by many here.

If George Pickens was missing meetings, showing up late to games, running lazy routes, getting ejected from games, embarrassing the head coach, you too would want him off this team asap.

“He didnt have a QB” is one of the worst excuses ive seen.

Btw, so far this season, Schotty has had to talk to him about his effort, sit him out a series, and he has gotten several taunting penalties.
The good FAR out weighs the bad to this point.

WRs being jerks in the NFL is a long held tradition.

Packers WR Max McGee in 1968 caught two TDs in the very first Super Bowl played. McGee was still so drunk that, to his dying day, he didn't remember much about the game.

Max was an 11 year veteran relegated to backup and facing retirement. He had only caught 4 passes that regular season.

He figured, what the heck! He spent the whole night with two airline attendants he had met at the airport bar, got skunkfaced drunk and showed up at the hotel at 6:30 in the morning of the game, even passed QB Bart Starr on his way to his room.

Well, wouldn't you know it? The starter, Boyd Dowler, injured his shoulder on the third play of the game and Mcgee replaced him.

McGee caught 7 passes for 138 yards and two TDs. He was a strong candidate for the first Super Bowl's MVP which they gave to Starr instead.

He can be all of that you said he was (hes not) and still better than Pickens

Ill go a step further and say Pickens does nothing better than Dez

He did say he wouldn't be doing the goal post hug anymore.
Seen a highlight of a Williams TD for Detroit. He hugged the goal post as well.
Not sure if he was penalized or fined for it.

Where is the outrage over that one from the few on here that dislike Pickens.
