Bc the the throw HAS to go to the end zone. If he puts that on Pickens depending on the call (assuming he throw in front of him) there is a chance that Pickens has to come back to the ball (out of the end zone) so you have to throw it to a corner spot where if the WR cant ger it no one can.

It wasn't a simpe 2 - 3 yard out pass. It had to go to the endzone and Dak read the corner - hastily as over the top and using the sideline as leverage.

After watching this, the play, it looks like a completely botched throw. The actual angle we saw from the TV, it looked like you said, a fade and a bad call.

Plus, as I said, GP pushed off to her open anyways.

Stated Pickens was open on the game day thread and someone disagreed with me.

You can’t make this up with Dak fans. They are unaware of his faults.

That would have been a TD which would have ended the game.

I tell you what and this goes for each person who's so blind and uninformed about how football is played.

So all the "he was open" lies can go ahead and stop right here. He was told by the head coach to throw the ball away if his first read wasn't open an he did what the coach told him to do.

Pickens doesn't have to be open while the ball is in Daks hands.The throw is often made based on where the receiver will be when the ball arrives.
With a receiver like Pickens, that's particularly relevant because you can throw it high/outside toward the pylon and let him make a play. The QB's job is often to anticipate the receiver becoming open. Pickens got separation near the front pylon. That's important. Dak didn't need Pickens to be standing completely uncovered before releasing the ball. He needed to recognize that Pickens was going to have a chance and put the ball where only Pickens could make the play. Therein lies the problem.

Tell you what there is a thread that you most likely tried to ignore because the image clearly displayed that he was open at the corner of the end zone.

However, individuals like you will ignore and makes excuses or lies just to make yourself feel better so that Dak can look good.

No one with a normal to high intelligence quotient would say he wasn’t open. The lies and incompetent comments from people like you who justify he wasn’t open suggest you either have vision issues or just have a character flaw.
