I had a good laugh browsing the net for Steelers message boards. At one I swear you could just change the back ground colors and graphics and you would think you were here.

It seems their fans are saying all the same things ours are.

There are those who think it's going to be a cake walk (arguably more then we have here)

Those who think they don't have a chance (arguably less then we have here)

20+ threads about the weather and field conditions.

20+ threads about RB injury watch

Multiple threads on how are we going to move the ball on their defense

1 big thread of Plaxico Burress.

At one point I started to assign usernames from here to match up with their posters. lol

I'm confident going into this game. If Dallas does not turn the ball over I expect a blowout. pittsburgh's offense sucks.

I was reading some stuff over there. I didn't know that James Harrison had a hyperextended back during the game against the Pats.

they are very worried about WARE tho'.
they seem to be real cocky. check out this post from a steeler fan

"nasty little secret that the Cowqueens don't want anyone to know and that they'll never admit but it'll be the reason why the Steelers beat them on Sunday...Tony Homo is a first-timer against the Steelers and EVERY QB who has faced the Steelers this season for the first time has **** the bed. Tony Homo will be no different. He'll get schooled like Cassel did, but in the Steelers crib.

BTW, I hope Troy comes out of S to blow the snot outta BO the same way Clarkie beat the snot outta Welker. Troy may appear to be all flowery and peace, love and soul on the outside...but the dude has a nasty demeanor once you strap him in. "

Cowboys are beatable......................

WAY to overrated IMO......................."

interesting stat: we have won 4 out of the last 5 games(they won that fluke in 04)
STAT WORTH NOTING: On their last two trips to Pittsburgh (1994 and 1997), the Cowboys won both games by a combined 63-16.

They have lost when playing good offenses and with that All-World defense, they have mustered 1 more win than Dallas. Color me non-impressed.

If P Manning and Co. can put 3 tds on them, Romo and the guys can too.

Only except those games in 1994 and 1997 came during week 1 of the regular seasons in both seasons respectively, where the weather wasn't a factor. Also keep in mind those were completely different teams, different players, different coaching. I believe the last time the Cowboys played in Pittsburgh this late in the season, you have to go back to that great year of 1977, where Dallas fell 28-13 to the Steelers.

All the car forums I am on, steeler fans are predicting an easy win. I don't know where this over confidence came from, just because they have a good defense and average at best offense, doesn't mean there going to beat the Cowboys easy.

I still remember clearly that Steelers fans were convinced they'd roll us in Superbowl XXX. It's a fanbase high in confidence, and low in intellectual horsepower. This is perfectly obvious to anyone who's ever actually had to do time in Pittsburgh.

Dallas should be focused for this game after the time off... I believe they'll come out fresh and ready.

Getting really tired of the weather thing. Do people realize that Cowboys players are not all from Texas? Some of them including their QB are from cold weather regions and have played in cold weather in high school, college and even during their pro careers.

:hammer: If we go out shooting ourselves in the foot then they will be able to take advantage of it but if we come out focused and limit the mistakes it'll look easy.

A few of their fans seemed to be worried about DWare vs Starks which leads me to believe DWare is in for a big outing. They also seem to think that Harrison is DWares equivalent and that Flo will not be able to handle him. I'm not so sure about all of that but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The thing about Flo is that he always struggles against some no name schmuck, but always brings his A game for the big time pass rushers. I've never understood it, but it always seems to be the case.

I think Flo will be okay in this game.
