Plaxico's Stats Vs Us Last Year

Ok I'm done. The reality is that almost half of Eli's passing yards came against the Chargers. This normally happens when the opposing defense goes to prevent. So it looks good on the stats, but the truth is that Eli is still not that good yet.The Chargers defense gave up some charity in that game.

Actually again look at the stats instead of making such blind statements. Mind you against the rams he had 296 yards 4tds and no Ints, He has improved every week from week 1-4. I guess the things i mentioned above doesnt suit you so now you gotta jet huh? I understand. As i said we shall see on sunday.

Whats up D2G. Everyone can blame D2G for my visit to these forums lol. Btw D2G this isnt Pitt and we shall see what Mr. Henry can do this time around :)

Never said I was "jetting." I mean the Cowboys are a bunch of nobody's. We beat a San Diego Team without their star tight end. We whipped an Eagles team But Mcnabb was hurt and TO just wasn't himself. The Commanders "D" isn't for real(you'll see). The Raiders, well if it wasn't for us they would be 0-5. It's funny to me that you have the same confidence in your team that I had when Quincy Carter was here. Look where he landed us. I'm not sure what you think the Giants have that we don't but your season starts Sunday and ends against the skins in two weeks.

While I'm a tad wary of this Giants team, I'd venture to say they are completely unproven. Having destroyed three terrible teams at home isn't all that impressive. (God, Taglibue's an idiot.) Anyway, The only time they have faced a good team away they were trashed, so at this point NY is an unknown commodity somewhere between mediocre and good.

SD I agree
Eagles i just think u owned them, u played well on all fronts
Raiders you lost and they arent good on defense and should be better on O
Skins you gave it away because of your secondary but that game wasnt impressive either way.
49ers - That wasnt impressive either, win/lose or draw.

So you could easily be 1-4 or 5-0. U really want too compare Eli to quincy? When u had quincy i knew u didnt have a real qb, Bill needed an excuse to get rid of carter and he did just that once they got dirt on him.

Why dont you open your eyes and read what i write not what you want too see. I gave your team credit where i believe it deserves, but im not gonna kiss there *** because you think they are the best in the nfc all of a sudden based on 1 win. Right now the eagles are still number 1 and the rest of us are fighting for there spot. Will we be able to take it over we will find out soon enough.

I have too say you are very lucky your coaches and players dont take the giants as lightly as you do, because if they did they be in a world of hurt.

Before the bye week stat wise. Eli was in top 5 qbs, Plax top 5, Tiki top 7 with less touches then last year, Shock top 3. But ya i have no clue what i see in a young teams future. Crazy me thinking wow with them averaging 34 pts a game. I guess its all a fluke... U will be in for a rude awakening.

Did i forget too mention last year we beat u with gimp KW? And a rookie qb which in turn had 17 of our players on IR last year. But thats right we didnt improve our team at all. Oh did i forget our ST is ranked in the tops in the league not just 1 game?

Ya your right im crazy i have no reason to think my team has a chance, and the skins pose a real threat. Ok carry on.

Well the O has proved it can score, it played better week in and week out. Our defense has played well besides SD where they just got smashed no doubt (But one win or lose like that doesnt make or break your team if you look at a few games with other teams that happened too the last couple years too). I agree my team still needs to prove itself. But one diff. about the giants this year from the past few years the teams we are suppose to beat, we are beating and in a convincing fashion, unlike what we have done in the past. So ya easier schedule to begin with but we are getting it done.

Funny thing though I can admit we still need to prove ourselves, yet you guys think you already have. And on a side note First week all were saying Arizona will be West champs, Saints are on a Emotional high mind you they were on a 5 game win streak before they met us, then SD ppl werent sure if they were one hit wonders or not when we played them, and finally the Rams were good enough too make it too the playoffs, yet 4 weeks later after we beat 3 of the 4 it changes.

We haven't completly proven ourselves, but more so than the giants. A win on the road against a good Chargers team (one where Tomlinson was held to just 72 yards) another very convincing win over what was percieved to be the best team in the NFC. As appose to the Rams who lost to the 9ers at home, the Saints who just got trashed by the GB Packers 52-3 "away",and the Cards who turned out to be the great posers of the offseason. Now understand I didn't say the Giants are bad, just unproven. We'll find out just how good they are in the next few weeks.

We have averaged more yards per game against the leagues tougher defenses. The Giants racked up most of their yards on the awesome Rams Defense. What exactly have Eli and your Giants proved? San Diego was the toughest game and they B**** slapped the G-men. The Giants are in the process of building Eli's confidence, this is the game where his confidence will be shattered. Next up Broncos and Commanders. You could very well be looking at 3-4 in a few weeks.
You forget - SD had Gates against the Giants, and HE was the reason LT got 2 more carries for 120 more yards than he did against the Cowboys. It had nothing to do with the Cowboys defense......

Possibly, DaBoyz, but Plaxico certainly seems to be more involved in New York's passing attack than he was in Pittsburgh's. He's off to the best four-game start of his career.

I concur, he didn't do well enough last year for pit to keep him but this year he is on fire. It should be a shootout with defense winning the game....

Actually from what i heard Plax was doubled more then ward. When we played SD they Doubled Plax so Shockey had over 100 yds, the week after the Rams doubled Shock, so Eli went to Plax thats why he had over 200 yds. Kinda like pick your poison.

I would of agreed with you last year about the pressure, but you have got too see the way Eli has been working the line, its unreal. But the line has only given up 6 sacks. Also we have been causing big plays when teams start to blitz eli often. That is a big diff. from what we did in the past, we could never pick up the blitz and eli had trouble with pocket presence.

I am concerned about your blitz, i think it will be another test for us, but i believe Eli and the Line will do alright, They have improved from game to game. Should be interesting.

The only problem with you supposed reasoning is that our secondary won't be doubling anyone, we just played Randy Moss and Terrell Owens without double covering them and frankly Burgess isn't a pimple on those receivers behind. Our cornerbacks are faster and more physical than any of your receivers there is no reason to double cover them. If I were you I'd be hoping Burgess manages to make all the meetings on time, he's such a busy man you know.

The thing that will be the undoing of the jints is the pressure our defensive line and DeMarcus Ware put on Manning. He is improved but his education will be continued on Sunday he won't find the pocket any safer than McNabb found it and McNabb is one of the best at handling pressure. Our Dline had McNabb throwing into the turf all day as well as taking 4 sacks, Eli will find the turf Sunday but I doubt it will take a bunch of blitzing our normal pass rush will be enough.

Zimmer will play your team straight up because we are a more athletic team than you are. You see this isn't even close to the team we had last year we are much improved on defense, you'll know that come Sunday around 5 pm.
