Players Dallas Has Shown Interest In - 2017

The belief is Evans could land in the late part of round one and I've heard his name linked with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys presently have four defensive backs up for free agency including two safety’s, starter Barry Church and JJ Wilcox.

This kid jumps off the tape. He's a better player than (2016 first-round pick) Karl Joseph. He's a ferocious hitter and he can cover a lot of ground. He will be a top-20 pick this spring," the executive told Jeremiah.

If you dont believe in the pass rushers that are there, feel free to upgrade the secondary.
Last thing I want to do is take a pass rusher ranked 45th at 28 just to take one

Which speaks to the unreliability of using 40 times as an predictor of DE talent.

It would be an awesome gig and you should challenge Rich on twitter to a combine race..lol!
He is a little younger than me so even better when I beat him. ;)

A couple of years ago I challenged a couple of ninth grade WRs to a foot race and beat them. It took my hamstrings a few weeks to recover.

Digressing even further, when I played football in high school, during my Freshman year, my Dad beat me in a foot race and he outweighed me by about 100 pounds. He was about the same age then as Rich Eisen is now (late forties). The coaches had timed us in the forty a couple of times that year and my worst time was 4.8. That means (in theory) my Dad could have run a sub 4.8 forty in his late forties at about 250 pounds.

Man, you were ice water slow.

A more ball hawking safety is Tedric Thompson who got 16 PBU's and 7 INT's last year. :omg:

I especially like the way he high points the ball when it comes his way.

We could sure use a lot more of that ball hawking attitude at both safety positions.

Nice. Thanks for collecting the names.

Very Happy we are showing interest in Jourdan Lewis and Jaleel Johnson. 2 of my favorite players in this draft.
