He's been my guess at #4 for the past few weeks. Doesn't seem like the greatest fit, but looks like a guy you can move up and down the line and the staff seems to value that quite a bit these days.

Buckner and Ramsey. Bosa distant 3rd. Still having a hard time seeing this front office take a QB at 4, especially from this group. Maybe if they trade down...

Could be but if Goff or Wentz are there I think you pull the trigger. JJ says Romo has 4-5 more years? I call BS. I say he has 2-3 years left at most and most likely he'll be injured in all of them, he's great but brittle.

I agree but I'm looking at it from Jerry/Stephen's perspective. I just can't see them pulling the trigger on a QB so high with them believing/hoping Romo is their guy for another 3+ years.

I can't see how he has won over anybody with his antics today.

He's rolled a teammate under the bus and now admits he takes plays off.

If any team spends a first on him, they are asking to be screwed over. I don't care how "freakish" he is.

Amen. Guy is trouble.

Maybe he thinks being honest is the smart thing to do instead of giving pre-planned answers that the fans and media wants to hear.

If they believe Romo will play that long, both of them needs to be replaced with people that thinks with their heads instead of emotions. They need to hire real football guys to run this team if they ever intend to play in another Super Bowl. As fans, we are cheering for a lost cause.

What if Jalen Ramsey is the next Darren Woodson?

He shows no signs of being a ball hawk and he shows no signs of being a play maker with turnovers. If he could be the next Woodson, that would be great, but I don't think a player can change his identity that much.

The other thing is that Woodson was drafted in the second round. Find me a guy at the beginning of round 2, who can be Woodson.

Woodson was a LB, a S and a CB wrapped up in one player. Rare talent. He was also probably one of the most intelligent players to ever play for the Cowboys.

That's kinda what they're saying about Ramsey. That he could play those 3 positions.

I do not understand this ridiculous fascination with "versatility". People are doing it with Myles Jack and they are doing it with Ramsey.

So who here believes for one second that Rod Marinelli can and will maximize these qualities within the scheme of his defense?

If you believe he will, you really do not know what he does defensively, nor do you really understand how it operates.

If we were running a variable scheme, much like what the Cardinals run, with wildcard players like Deonne Bucannon and Tyrann Mathieu installed, I would understand.

We do not. We run a standard 4-3 defense. We do not vary fronts with a lot of regularity. We certainly do not have blitzing as a big part of the scheme. Marinelli might go away from his roots here and there, but always comes back to what he is comfortable with.

His best position is safety. It was where he actually made plays from. Are we putting him there and leaving Byron Jones at CB?

The defense needs playmakers and stability. Not another experiment like Byron Jones where it took most of the season for them (and him) to figure things out.

I've said Buckner for a while now too. Jack makes some sense but not enough. Ramsey will probably be gone. Just say NO to Bosa.
