You beat me to it, wild man, and I like the way you've organized it by draft projection...

Good stuff... thanks...

Danario Alexander in Round 5 would be the bomb.

Just one problem-- we don't currently have a 5th round pick...

Observations from that list are that we are definitely looking heavily at offense, but are not very serious about RB.

UPDATE.

Mays says it was an error and he did not meet with the Cowboys.

DCStarJEllis

Again, Mays HAS NOT met with the Cowboys to this point.

For a team not interested in WRs, ;) there sure are a lot of WRs in that list.

Though I suspect they are looking at them also as return guys, so that does slant things towards recievers and cornerbacks.

Jones: Williams Will Keep Starting Job
Posted by jellis at 2/28/2010 3:48 PM CST
The question was posed to Jerry Jones as follows: Do you see Roy Williams not being a starter next year?

"No. No. I do not," the owner said. "No. A big no."

The double negative makes it convoluted in print, but Jones was affirming that Williams will continue to be among the Cowboys’ top two receivers when the 2010 season begins.

Head coach Wade Phillips said Saturday night that one news source had wrongly interpreted his Friday comments about getting more from Williams. Phillips was saying Williams and the team can do things differently to try to increase his impact, not that his starting job is up for grabs.

Phillips has stressed that the best players will play. The Cowboys see Williams as one of their two best receivers.

"He’s certainly got room for improvement, we all know that," Jones said. "He’s got technical things he can work on and improve."
