I gave him some thought as well, very under appreciated
the thing is is obvious to most that he improved his coverage skills last year i think fans only look at the negativ....they don't remember all the good ones he shut down some top wide receivers last year..... yes hes high risk off the ball corner but still a top 10 corner with upside to be top 5..jhes still improving IMO.

And I think if he actually did sit out for a few games fans might learn to love him more.

He is that important to what the Cowboys are trying to do. Cowboys management has confirmed this by claiming they don't need a top prospect to complement Pollard due to the superiority of their offensive line.

I don't think they envisioned Josh Ball when making those statements.
Zack probably gets more love and props than any player on the team, except for maybe Parsons. Zack has been called the best player on the team and is a first ballot lock for the Hall of Fame. I’m sure it’s gone to his head some and he feels like he should be paid more money. He signed his contract and needs to live up to it.

Certain players aren’t going to get any more love than they have until the team starts going deep in the playoffs. Cowboys fans are a fickle group. One minute they’re praising a player and the next minute they’re trashing them. Fans live from week to week with the team and the players.

No its not disrespectful, we are talking $$ and contracts, not how we feel about him, ZM is held in HIgh regard as payer and human but contracts and hold outs can be judged in very different way,

jeez theres is huge difference. if you can't see it then you shouldn't be posting on this thread..

I remember staying up Saturday nights watching him play on the blue field. Back then I thought I was watching a future NFL player. When we drafted him my son even said, HEY THAT THE GUY FROM BOISE ST!!!
Memories , forever.

Well, certainly not Rowdy...oh, maybe I should put that in the other thread.

Malik Hooker
He came in on a 1 year prove it deal. Reputation of not staying healthy. He improved as the season went along. And last season, he quietly had a solid year helping to hold the secondary to being a cohesive unit.
