Players yelling @ Wade after the game

I thought everybody loved each other this year? lol

LOL. I guess T.O. wasn't really the problem here.

If true, Jerry needs to get rid of Wade.

If Wade has lost this team to the point where they yell at him because they don't like his calls, its over.

Wade lost this team last year. Jerry is to stubborn.

Post-game party crashers

We had some confusion in the post-game interview room with several fans, with credentials, sitting in the room right with us.
And you thought we asked bad questions. One guy asked Wade Phillips, "Do you miss Jessica Simpson?" which brought an end to Phillips' Q and A. At least the guy waited until the end to ask the question.
By the time Tony Romo came to the podium, at least 15 or so fans with credentials were ushered out of the room.
It appeared a few of them attempted to get inside the locker room after the game without success.
Drunken idiots running wild

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that locker room after the game.

What for so you can hear cupcake man say how "everyone tried there best" and "we'll get em next time" I'm so sick of Wade Phillilps and this coaching staff this is embarrassing for Jerry and the whole Cowboys organization. A magical night just all fubar, Im glad I wasn't there to witness that monstrosity first hand.

They were yelling for Wade to call a timeout, and when Wade finally called the timeout the referee didn't give it to him. The players were gassed and wanted a time out to catch their breath. Hamlin was yelling at the referee for not giving them the timeout.

we don't have any leaders on this team.

i think some players try to be leaders, but the big problem i think, is that the players really dont know what leadership means.

If you want to see how this team could turn the corner think about the cowboy in early 70s. Herb Adderly showed the players what hey lacked in practice habits, etc from winning the big games. Troy Aikman said the players had no ideal what championship leaders really do till Charles Haley got here.

Haley showed the players what it took to win in big games and championships. That then rubbed off on players like Irvin, E Smith, Aikman.

Same thing happened in 1978 when the cowboys acquired jackie smith. The players started losing mid season. Jackie Smith called a private closed meeting and told the players your expecting to just win by going out on the field and claiming your super bowl champions because of what you did in 1977. But your not practicing like professionals in practice. The players took that to heart, changed their study habits, film habits, practice habits, lifting weight habits and the cowboys started winning again and got back to the super bowl.

So, yes you hit the nail on the head, lack of leadership on this team. When players like Ken Hamlin if true at him hollering at players and wade, doesnt hold himself accountable for his lack of getting turnovers or stopping running plays, etc, then this team is in trouble because like bradie james said today,

Its all nice to say you were or you played a bad game and your going to correct that, but thats just words. Its what you do in practice, how you work to correct those mistakes, admit you did mess up and improve.

Talk is cheap, and the truth hurts sometimes, till you accept it and face your own problems, then how can you improve?

that is what was talked about on the postgame. I have not heard nor did I see anyone yelling at the coaches in the manner described.

maybe if we tackled and didn't practice in a air conditioned place during training camp these guys would be more prepared. sofT

I just don't know if the players were upset at the defense that he put them in at certain times....I remember too many times just getting PO'd at how open their receivers were....they were just finding the open zone every time....

Word is we ran plenty of man.

And on the play Scandrick got toasted on, it was obvious man.

If we're going to bring heat and run man coverage, why not try to get a jam and disrupt the timing??? I dont get it

maybe if our offense didn't turn the ball over so damn much, the defense wouldn't have had to stay on the field so damn long

sure, they missed tackles, but they held the Giants to field goals in the redzone 5 out of 5 times.

Totally agree, most of those players that should reallly look at themselves, question their heart, desire, instinct, are Romo, Flozell, Roy Williams, Ken Hamlin and Newman. Leaders step up and produce!

Why did Jenkins let his guy go and pass him off to Sensabaugh if it was "obvious man"?

The players have to be accountable.....

We and probabaly the players asked for more man coverage and it seems like coaches listened and the players failed.

We asked for more chemistry and mangement and coaches listened.....and now there are reports that players are yelling at coaches.....

We asked for a more friendly Romo offense and we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with bad decisions and poor penalities.

I know the coaching can probably be better.........but when the game starts....players need to tackle.....players need to beat their man....players need to stop making bone headed mistakes.

Note*....

Am I the only one annoyed hearing quotes and interviews from Carpenter? I mean the guy is a jackrag........nothing more....

The Giants have been struggling in the Red Zone for quite a while, so this really isn't a big accomplishment.

However, what is a big accomplishment is giving up over 876 yards in 2 Games.

exactly;
give me a coach like jimmy johnson that worked the players in the heat and got them ready for game time; the cowboys sure werent gassed in the 4th quarter;

wade has learned some things the last few years
1st, special teams do matter
2nd youve got to play rbs like choice, barber & felix not sit them on bench
3rd you cant treat these players like professionals, you have to work them

but its sad when a coach that has coached for 30 years hasnt learned that by now.

now all wade needs to do is have the players at least once a week in practice, training camp hit and tackle in practice; let the chips fall where they may, sometimes players to get hurt, but you have to have players ready to go and be fully geared to hit and hit back and be in shape so he wont be gassed in 4th quarter

chuck noll worked his team that way, don shula worked his team that way; jimmy johnson worked his team that way, parcells worked his team that way
lombardi worked his team that way

Now, lets see
Noll steelers won 4 superbowls
Shula dolphins won 2 super bowls
parcells giants won 2 superbowls
Lombardi won 2 superbowls
Jimmy cowboys won 2 superbowls with a championship in 95 with team built

so yes, working the players in heat, hitting and tackling and working out, works;;
