Garrett gave this game away. We averaged over 8 yards per carry, but he just couldn't resist getting all pass happy. Want proof? Here you go.

Run/pass ratio on our drives.

4 TD drives? 21 runs, 10 passes.

8 other drives that went nowhere (1 got a FG)? 8 runs, 20 passes.

This ain't rocket science people. 2-1 run ratio and we score touchdowns. 2-1 pass ratio and we fail.

Garrett is a freakin idiot. So is the head coach. How come the 2 of them can't recognize what is happening on the field and adjust the playcalls accordingly, when I can see what is happening sitting at home watching on TV?

8 yards per carry! 8 YARDS!!!! Our O line was beating them when we ran right at them. I was yelling at the TV the whole game . . . RUN THE FREAKING BALL GARRETT!!!!!

there's no way to know what was actually called vs. what was ran unless you're JG, Romo, or Wade, those numbers / ratios mean nothing without that data

This is the worst kind of analysis - it's almost numerology.

As noted, it's not the ratio that was the problem, it was the quality of the constituent plays. You will not win running with a 2-1 run/pass spread - yet that's what is being argued here, that we should have just run. RUN FORREST RUN!

A conclusion that is not very well considered.

I'll be honest with ya, your not the first person I heard this from. I have also heard from several people that Jerry let lose with profanity laced verbal lashing at no one in particular and his last quoted words were "This is unacceptable"

Now I doubt I'm going to hear the same BS story from 3 different people that are in no way related but unlike the media I'm not going to throw it out there as fact unless it can be verified.
