Playing an NFL game with only 3 days rest is a disgrace

Buddy of mine is a pilot for a major airline. He now flies international flights but back when he flew domestic flights he flew some NFL team flights. Mainly the Ravens.
He said it was like a hospital ward on the flights home after games. Players lying in the floor getting IVs, ice packs, bandages etc. Resembled a MASH unit. He said seeing the physical damage to their bodies up close like that was eye opening.

4 days after the last game, but really 3 full days of rest. As opposed to 6 days of rest in between Sundays, even though it's 7 days apart.

3 less than normal Sunday to Sunday games.

Either 4/7 or 3/6 depending on how you define it.
