If we beat the Bears (big IF, I know)................I think we will clinch before week 17

Chicago and Green Bay don't look so tough in their current state, but nothing is a given. I would love wins over both of them.

Chicago is equally inept on defense, so that game could be a shoot out.

If we were to win against Bears and Packers (obviously a big if), I wouldn't be surprised if we clinched the divsion that week. Philly has AZ, Det, and MN which I could easily see them losing two of those.

In my younger days I got into all those percentages and stuff. Maybe it is just me getting older but I just want the Cowboys to take of business on their own by winning.

I'm sure we all do, but only the most optimistic fans would expect the Cowboys to go 4-0 over their remaining four games. Like it or not, this team will probably lose at least one if not two more games, and so the Cowboys would need some help (i.e., the Eagles losing.)

Major Wright pulled his hammy in practice today. He'll be out Sunday and my guess is he misses our game too. They're decimated with injuries like us.

I hope McCown throws out his shoulder on a pass that goes to the sideline, hitting Cutler in the sack. That would be a two for one.

I'd love to see Philly drop at least one of those two games vs either AZ or DET.
It's not at all far-fetched

I believe the Cowboys will play for the divison week 17 and I also believe the Cowboys are better than the eagles. I didn't think they would beat the skins last year but its a different year.

Cowboys just need one more win and a Cards win this weekend to be playing for the division. I don't think that's too much to ask.

I agree about the Washington game last year. I had no confidence at all in that game. The team was playing its heart out in the weeks leading up that game, but playing with a totally decimated team on the road vs a red hot opponent...and then having the QB hurt, Dez and Miles go down, etc...all while already missing the heart of the defense. That was WAY to much to ask.

The odds or better now if nothing gets worse injury wise. Lee will be back, Ware will be be better, the line just flat out is better, and our top three WRs would be playing.

I agree with you...its not at all far-fetched. As a matter of fact, I expect them to lose one of those two games.

It would seem the game against the Skins is huge, as we are undefeated in the division as it stands and the Eagles have 2 losses. If we go into the Eagles game with 1 loss, an Eagles win then gives us 2 losses like the Eagles in the division. If we beat the Skins, we have the division locked up if we go into the Eagles game a game up on them.

None of this really matters. If they limp in, they will get destroyed. They need to use the rest of the season to build momentum and gain confidence. I hope Rogers does play because they need to show they can beat good teams. Beating GB with Rogers is the kind of step this teams needs to be able to take in order to have playoff success.

If they are to beat Rodgers, they will have to have an offense that clicks the whole game.. Rodgers is too good to be stopped by this defense.

I think it will be a shootout. Neither team has a defense and both have elite QBs.

Yes, but the Cowboys have proven that they get off slow.. I haven't seen anyone who is a great QB get off slow against us. ..(Brees, Manning)

Unfortunately generally that is the case. We did play the Denver game well. That's the reason I've been saying turn Romo loose.

To me turning Romo loose would be a good idea if that means they're throwing it deep. I don't think it should mean stop running the ball but we have a guy in Terrence Williams that can go get the deep ball. The timing and crossing routes are what this team is known for. They changed it up for the Denver game.

If Philly loses one more time before our matchup, we would only need ONE win vs Chi, GB or Wash to at least be playing for the division title wk 17.

Dallas Cowboy Remaining Schedule

@ Chi
GB
@ Was
Phi

I think we make the playoffs @ Was, and we'll finish the year 10-6. Does anyone know what seed we get if we finish 11-5? Because that's a real possibility if we take care of business against Chi and GB.
