I really don’t believe Son is going to operate in the same manner as Daddy.

Most of all he’s going to have 2 equal partner siblings to answer to.
Is this known,or is it an assumption that JJ won’t give a Stephen a very slight majority…enough to be final decision maker?

How could Stephen have a majority over 2 siblings together . That means have to leave him over 50% with Jerry Jr and Charlotte with less than 50% together( less than 25% each).

That would be not only unheard of with a family all working together basically in equal roles all being VP’s but it would be no doubt challenged in court.

I can’t imagine Daddy creating such a legal mess nor shunning Jerry jr or Char who have both been very instrumental. Jerry Jr arguably has served a more important role.

More nonsense from you.

If Stephen was this rational thinking individual he'd have declined his current position or resigned long ago. He is as fake a Director of Player Personnel as his father is a GM.

Absolutely nothing will change when that silver spooned fraud takes over.

You really haven’t thought this thru. It isn’t about Stephen being rational thinking . Why would he have resigned his current position? That has no bearing on this. Even Jethro’s wife has referenced the kids won’t place themselves in the same role as their dad.

The bottomline is this is still Jethro’s dream. The kids are just serving their Dad. They don’t have the same passion he has to be the face of the franchise or be a celebrity football guy.

Most likely the 3 siblings will have equal share. Stephen will assume the Pres role and still over see football operations while hiring real football people who they will hold more directly accountable.

Everything you just read is a complete fantasy.

When Jerry dies, Stephen will be the new GM and absolutely nothing will change. Just like he's fine pretending to be the Director of Player Personnel all these years, he'll do the same as the GM.

I really don’t believe Stephen will ever become GM. Jethro doesn’t want to place his siblings in the direct line of fire he’s placed himself in that he’s able to public maneuver and scheme his way thru.

More likely Stephen will assume the Pres position and hire and fire GM’s and or VP’s, HC, etc while still being involved in contract negotiations like he’s been.

With the 3 siblings equal share they wouldn't want to place any in direct line of fire the fans or media could shred . And why none will assume the same role their Dad has.

It may not be as normal a situation as we want but it will be closer than what we’ve seen with Jethro . After all this was his dream to be a celebrity football guy, not their kids.

My greatest hope is the siblings could have a fallout if one tries to take more control and force a sale.

Read my above post. This isn’t my fantasy but based on what I’ve read over years from those with greater insight who have covered the Cowboys the closet .

There’s a good chance Jethro will out live me even considering he has about 10 years on me as he’s healthy. My ticker could quit anytime.

But all indications over the years from family members and those closet is the kids will not assume the same role their father has.

That doesn’t mean the results will be any better as one of them will still need to serve as Pres and be involved.

But I think there is at least the opportunity Cowboys Football won’t be as dysfunctionally ran with the same egotistical , flamboyant, narcissistic style their Dad has.

As much as I’m a major opponent of Jethro and what he’s done to my favorite past time with little hope while he’s alive and well, I do believe based on everything I’ve consumed for last 30+ years following the local beat there is more hope after he’s gone.

And by kids, you mean the mentally challenged that enjoy licking Jerry's boots.
I’m kinda torn on this issue. While I agree if we are referring to these youngsters who defend everything under the Star but at least with this young generation close to me , I see fans who hear and understand our frustrations while trying to find some optimism towards the future. Similar to how I was in the early 60’s watching a new franchise come of age as we got better each year.

I hate to shoot down these young kids in my family hope for their favorite team. It’s tough being devoted to a team that hasn’t won much. We need these new young devoted fans who haven’t enjoyed the glory eras the last two generations have lived thru.

And this young generation will enjoy it even more if we return to glory that those of us that seem to expect it .

I am not talking about kids. According to their bio they are older than me and I am social security age if I want. Anyway I dont agree with your take on Stevie. I see a chip off the old block. But I guess if you are clearing $400 mill a year, why change how you are doing business.

It’s not just my take on Stephen but the siblings shared ownership.

So, for the sake of argument let’s say Stephen becomes GM. And there are problems . It affects revenue , etc. Do the other siblings who together would have more interest or shares than Stephen vote to oust him as GM?

These are the kind of issues their Dad never has had to deal with. It’s why he backed out of buying the Chargers cause he didn’t want partners.

Or do you think Daddy is going to shun Jerry jr and Charlotte giving Stephen majority stake in the Cowboys?

Jerry takes all the blame. Garrett (a decade) would be next.
