Please do not try and defend Romo today

Actually cb19 is having difficulty imagining how someone can be pro-Romo and still critcize his play.

yea, that's my big issue w/cb. any critisizm to him is a jihad he must wage to defend romo's honor.

it's just as short sighted as the game by game bashers.

so why do you ignore a HUGE DEFENSIVE COLLAPSE in the last month just so you can pick on romo?

crap like this is where people get their agenda tags stapled onto them.

Look around you, pal. Everyone KNOWS the defense sucks. But Romo is getting a freaking free pass from all the Romonites because they so DESPERATELY WANT to believe that HE is the one, and can't BEAR to hear otherwise.

actually your wrong, please stay out of this convo, we dont need more idiots

no he's not. : ) this is what you and i got into it for the other day. you defend his each and every move and it's not needed.

not anymore than someone attacking his each and every move. but for some reason there's always someone who feels the need to attack in such a blind manner and in turn, someone will take up the defense of a player as their mission and get just as blind.

wake up dude. he's a good qb. we're fortunate to have him, but he can and will have bad games.

I love it. The OL was not to blame for bledsoe sucking, but it is to blame for Romo sucking.

Yes, we have a suck*** OL. But Romo has done more than his part to kill the high this team was riding on a month and a half ago.

If Bledsoe was playing instead of Romo, we probably lose by at least 30 points. 3 of his fumbles (1 of which he picked up and threw for a first down) were caused by poor pass protection. He was often scrambling all day. And when Bledsoe played the running game was far more effective than it's been with Romo. Not to mention the defense was entirely better under Bledsoe.

So you've got a QB that's getting a mediocre running game, mediocre pass protection, has had plenty of dropped passes (although not today) and an atrocious defense. That usually equates to poor QB play since the QB is in a hole. Yet Romo has been inconsistent.

Bledsoe on the other hand had plenty of help, but couldn't get the job done. Romo isn't perfect, but I don't know of many QB's that would exceed with how the rest of the team is playing right now.

maybe the shouting is just people telling you to shut up, not defend romo and telling you to shut up is just that, not a romo defense.

both sides of the extreme irritate the living hell out of the 90% of us in the middle.

This DIAF has no life.

Why even come in here if you just want to bash Romo?

I didnt ignore anyone I said the whole team was at fault, and the thread isnt about the last month it is about today.

You are stapling a agenda tag on a Romo fan with an honest criticism

His game wasn't flawless, but he is the only reason we stood a chance to even tie today.

I am so glad we have him.

I concur.

1 pick and 4 fumbles is freaking awesome.

My "agenda" is seeing this team win ball games. Mr. Romo has not been particularly helpful in that regard lately.

It pains me to think that all of this could have been avoided had Jerry just *** drafted a real QB instead of trying to find diamonds on the cheap for 6 years. Of course Romo is the best of the bunch, but he doesnt look to be the all-pro we so desperately want. My hope is that he develops into Jake Delhomme, if not we've thrown another 3 years down the tubes, likely.

Haven't you heard? Romo is untouchable. He's the golden child. All his errors must be magically exculpated and explained away. Holding on to the ball too long? No problem. Losing the ball twice despite not being hit? No problem. Another braindead interception? No problem. Stupid smile on his face even after bad plays? No problem.

Let me lay it out for the sheep and shills: if you're gonna praise him for the good parts of the game today (and there was certainly some of that), then you sure as hell better lambaste him for the bad. So get cracking.

in the last 5 years, which QB would you have taken in the 1st round when we were picking?

whining for the sake of whining should never try to be passed off as a noble cause, whiner.

He was also a big reason we were IN the situation we were in. Without his 3, frankly, ******** turnovers we most likely aren't all sitting here typing and whining.
