Please do not try and defend Romo today

I didnt ignore anyone I said the whole team was at fault, and the thread isnt about the last month it is about today.

You are stapling a agenda tag on a Romo fan with an honest criticism

I just fainted. In 2006, we agreed on something. Just in time, too.

He was also a big reason we were IN the situation we were in. Without his 3, frankly, ******** turnovers we most likely aren't all sitting here typing and whining.

and if the defense could have held at any of hte 3 times we took the lead, we'd not be having this discussion adn romo would not have had to get crazy and improvise, increasing the chances for stupid mistakes.

in the last 5 years, which QB would you have taken in the 1st round when we were picking?

whining for the sake of whining should never try to be passed off as a noble cause, whiner.

And what exactly are you doing? Whining. WE ARE ALL WHINING. Its what we do after we lose a game. How long have you been posting here again? You should have realized this by now....

maybe - but this was a response to DIAF, not you. : )

fair enough ut earlier in the thread you said basically the same thing I believe directed at me. and then never replied to my last post or recanted that I was "attacking" someone I wanted out of town

The sheep wasted little time posting their "don't you dare go there" threads regarding the anointed one. That's an agenda.

No man we agreed on something about 2 months ago remember I think it was that a Eagles fan was an idiot or something

To what? What QB would I have drafted? I would have made a freaking move and GOTTEN a QB prospect. Trade up in the draft, whatever. Make it so. Stop trying to find all-pros from the garbage heap.

I'm sorry you can't take criticism of your Football Lord God Almighty.

But that was too easy. It's like hating Munchis.

Haven't you heard? Romo is untouchable.

Nobody is saying that or implying that. What people are saying is that he was one of the few reasons why we were in the game and given how bad the O-Line played, many of us highly doubt there were QB's that would've done all that better.

Holding on to the ball too long? No problem.

Explain to us when he did that? In the red zone at the end of the game when Detroit new Dallas had to pass the ball?

Give me a break.

Losing the ball twice despite not being hit? No problem.

Both caused by awful pass protection. If the pass protection was *decent* we wouldn't have that problem in the first place.

Another braindead interception? No problem. Stupid smile on his face even after bad plays? No problem.

Yes, even though the refs missed an illegal chuck by Detroit on Witten, the guy that he was throwing the ball to. And god forbid a QB throws 1 INT in a game despite putting up a 110 QB rating while running for his life and having no running game. I don't know what people are thinking. WORST....QB....EVER.

Let me lay it out for the sheep and shills: if you're gonna praise him for the good parts of the game today (and there was certainly some of that), then you sure as hell better lambaste him for the bad. So get cracking.

People are critical of his bad parts of the game. But the good outweighed the bad and he didn't have much help for it. I'm not expecting the O-Line to play like the '93 Cowboys O-Line, but when he got *decent* protection, he made good plays. But too many times he was scrambling for his life and overall he put up some good numbers. I don't think 90% of the starting QB's would've played that well with the pass protection, running game, and defense Dallas had today. We made John Kitna look like Johnny Unitas today and Corey Redding look like Reggie White.

Who, Alex Smith?

Aaron Rodgers?

true enough, hating munchis is like hating a disease is just comes natural

I didn't read the whole thread, but has his hands been talked about?

Does he have small hands? He seems to have a hard time holding on to the ball.
I also wonder about the balls that fly on him.

Oh well. Tournament starts next week, new season..

Baloney. Did I imagine this "lay off Romo" thread?

That's the last thing someone should be concerned about after a loss like this one. And no, he isn't being panned nearly enough for his screwups. You don't get to lose the ball just because you're scrambling, kay? Take the sack and hold on to the damn ball. Period.
