Please stop complaining!

Dak or bust. Bust!

Losing is losing. 100 points or one. If Dallas was Detroit you mi

Yes, record wise, there is no difference. That isn’t what I’m talking about. I’m speaking of the impressions of the game and how upset fans should be about team performance.

In that light, losing to Detroit big is definitely not the same thing as barely losing to the world champs in their house.

Its cool man. I just look at a loss as a loss.No moral victories. In the end if we miss the playoffs by one game. Nobody is gonna say that game in Tampa was a great one. This game in Tampa we should of won kept us from the playoffs in this scenario. I'd of said the same if we won. Nice win versus bad loss.

Bottom line is it sucks to lose but I can't help but be a little more optimistic now! I mean come on! This offense could be scary if they can keep all those pieces healthy! Yeah, the defense is a work in progress but there were some positive things too. Honestly, that is one of the best offense/defense combos we will see all year!!

NO....Even If I do not want to complain...I can't help it when I see stuff like a FG kicker missing an extra point.
You can comment about the team being better in this area and that area while still complaining about some areas.
I don’t think the OP was talking about that type of complaining.

That wasn't even supposed to be a close game. A lot of you act like this is the same loser Cowboys team. If you can't tell the difference between this years team and the Garrett years, please seek help.

My apologies, I thought this was a Cowboys opinions forum. Please give a few days to edit my posts that question the Jones boys bottom line results the past 25 seasons.

And until we finally win a measly divisional playoff game after 25 seasons of trying, we ARE the same loser Cowboys team. They're my team since 1963 but I also know my Cowboys history and this season is the same as the past 25: business as usual with "hope" as our main strategy.

I don't know what that means, but I'm sure it's funny.
First time I went to Vegas in the early 90s....my best friend, his wife, me and my wife were riding in a Limo down the strip. His wife kept saying, look at this and look at that.....my friend asked her, do you know Chata? She said, no honey, who is Chata....he said Chata F up! I still laugh when I think about it.

I gotcha. We’re just looking at it in different ways. It’s all good.

MM makes many of the same in-game decisions that Garrett made. If you can look past the moral victory, the Cowboys lost. Brady played poorly and made multiple turnovers that Dallas did not fully take advantage of. If Brady had played well, it wouldn’t have been a close game. Dak put up great stats in a losing effort. Dallas settled for FGs instead of TDs. The refs missed a big penalty which hurt the Cowboys. The defense was bad. Little to no pressure on Brady. The secondary was torched. Other than these things, yes , it was totally different than the loser team from last year.

This I agree with.

but when people are treating it like Dallas got blown out by Detroit, it just doesn’t compute.
So....we let this one slip through our fingers and we shouldn't talk about why.

I guess I'm not sure who you're talking about.

Man, you’re wasting you’re breath I’ve read, ‘Zeke was terrible!’, when the game plans clearly were never going to be run oriented for either team. This loss was a ST disaster coupled with three significant drops by Lamb, one of which resulted in an int.

#4 and #19 balled out, our defense played MUCH better than last year, and we took not only the defending SB champs to the wire, but also the team that’s heavily favored to represent the NFC in the SB this year. Moore had a good game plan and we came up just short. Diggs was a shut down corner for a game, but we just don’t have enough CBs to cover that much offensive talent.

Yes, losing is no fun, but if Cowboy fans aren’t optimistic after what they saw, let them find another team to cheer for.

I do think it's funny that, to some posters, we aren't allowed to take any positives away from this game. It was a loss so instead we should sulk around the board complaining and being emo about it.

The best thing for me is that we didn't look like clowns out there. We looked like a dangerous team that could have beat the Super Bowl Champs on opening day. I didn't get the same feeling of the Cowboys embarrassing us like they usually did. I have a feeling that we can hang with any team in the league... but we HAVE to do something about that cornerback position and possibly DT. Brown isn't going to cut it.

No need to sulk, but there's also no need to proclaim that everyone is elite at their position after 1 game.

Maybe you can tell us all where the difference was? Blown leads. Inept coaching decisions. Defense looking lost. Penalties. I could go on but I think we all can see the similarities. Dak or bust. Bust:rolleyes: Garrett 2.0
So go whine about Netflix! We were up against the world champs in their house, with the GOAT doing his thing against a 6-10 team with a new DC in their first game. We were picked to lose big, but it took a FG with 7 seconds left to win by 2, and had our injured kicker made that 24 yard chip shot, we’d have won anyways.
