If you want a player that is going into his do or die season? That would be Justin Fields. He has started for 2 seasons now and the results have not been great. You can use your "put up or shut up" on him.
Not really. Poor guy got thrown to the wolves. It will take more than him to turn that team around.

This only gets more interesting with the two college QB's waiting in the wings. QB's like Fields, Lance and Love might be feeling a little uneasy. Not to mention the QB's selected in the 1st round of this past draft. Their teams could easily go back to the QB well in this next draft.

Well, the Bears are going to be looking to draft a QB and move on if things don't go well this season. This is Justin's third year starting and he needs to look A LOT better than he has the last 2 seasons. No more excuses or laying the blame on everyone else. To quote another in this thread: "It's put up or shut up time" for Justin Fields.

Someone else said it is put up or shut up time for Jordan Love, and the Packer Backer said that should be Fields, not Love.
We must have posted at exact same time, but thanks. Sometimes I feel like I am conversing with just haters here.

The hate is strong for a player going into his first season as a starter. Nice try at attempting to put pressure on J-Love. Too funny!:D

Thanks for the chuckle though. Your are obviously panicked that J-Love may show that he is superior to your precious Dak Prescott.

Going to be a very fun season. Can't wait for week 1 in Chicago.

Dak is not the QB that Love will be compared to in the media… that will be Rodgers, no doubt. That is who he has replaced, he sat for a few season watching the hall of fame QB in front of him, just like Rodgers did, and now, his first season will be compared to Rodgers first season starting, which was extraordinarily good.

There is enormous pressure there, and it has nothing to do with Dak Prescott.

And while this may be his first season as a starter, his contract is about up… so if he doesn’t play well, the Packers very well might decide to move on rather than re-sign a sub par QB to big money… which will mean Love was a wasted first round pick and only add to the move that has already been perceived as a mistake.

You’re right though… if Love plays like Aaron did in his first year as the starter, y’all will be good to go.

He is signed through 2024. Obviously they were not going to give him a long term deal before his first season starting. That is business.

The Packers were 6-10 in Aaron's first year starting. Yes, you could see Aaron was going to be the man, but he didn't light the world on fire in his first season starting.

J-Love will be fine. He has looked better in camp the last 3 years and this year than Aaron did early in his career before starting. When I first saw Aaron at camp in 2005 I was impressed with his arm but he was all over the place with his throws. From the jump, J-Love has never looked out of control.

Stay tuned..we will see what happens.

We do not need any visiting haters, got all the homegrown ones we need.

And it is very misleading as to the % of haters vs others because they are so unyielding. Even good news gets predicted to go south.

Damned if I would follow a team if I felt that way. But, the Cowboys became my exclusive in that Ice Bowl against your team so they do not have to win to keep me. Good thing too.

The whole world is going to stay tuned to that situation… and yes we all will see what happens. I just hope the fans will give the kid a little leeway in his learning curve. He seems like a pretty good guy.

Packers fans are 100% behind J-Love and will support him through thick and thin. That I promise you.

When you say "fans", it's those outside of Wisconsin that are just waiting for the Packers to lose one game and say: "See, I told you Jordan Love would never amount to anything."

I can tell you that Bears fans are scared crapless about week 1 vs. the Packers.

If the Packers win it will be: "It's just one game and the Packers paid the refs."
If the Packers lose then it's: "Jordan Love will be out of the league next season and Justin Fields is now in the MVP conversation."

"OneTeamOneNation"? That makes no sense whatsoever, when there are 32 teams in the nation. ;)

Speaking of Packers, can we all agree that Lambeau field only gets rated so highly because it was built during the civil war? That place is a dump.
