Poison Oak Rash

OOPS our DR says it is poison oak after checking my wife
Sounds like you need a new doctor...or a divorce attorney.

Honestly, it sounded weird when you first said it was Monkey Pox, because I didn't know a small rash was a symptom. I thought it was a full body experience.

Admittedly, I don't know anything about it, that was just my impression.

My wife has it now but on her back lots more bumps than I have Area on my belly is about soccer ball sized she has bumps from the shoulders to her butt
You have it on your front and your wife has it on her back, it's contagious, and I am fighting hard to not grab the low hanging fruit with this. I have already warned myself twice and may have to resort to giving my bad self a time out.

Seriously, the itching is no laughing matter, it can drive you nuts and scratching can exacerbate the problem. Hope you both get better pronto pronto.

The Gip is in OK, the doctors are part-time plumbers there and he might have had his plumber's hat on.

I joined after Gip discovered it was poison oak so I missed all the M Pox stuff.

Until just a few years ago, I was immune to poison ivy. By the way I started the previous sentence, it's obvious that's no longer the case. That kind of itching is worse than pain at times, especially if it's in a place you can't reach.

I don't think I've ever had poison oak, but I've had poison ivy a lot. I still stand by my insanely stupid home remedy (That works for me). plastic scouring pad and bleach.

I use to be immune to it

I'd never experienced anything like the itching bilirubin can cause. It is toxic to the body and is what causes jaundice and yellowing of the eyes and skin and the itching can drive anyone over the brink because it moves around from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet and everyplace in between because one can't rid the body of enough of it through the regular elimination channels. Although that is the first warning sign that your bilirubin is elevated.

I didn't know anything about it until it happened and the docs told me if you reach the itching stage, you are already in the danger zone. Your count is supposed to be between 0.0 and 1 and by the time they treated me the first time, I was already at 10.4, the last time, 7.9.

No doubt!!!

And it's not contagious. It's the oils from the plant that cause it, not the blisters or the juice thereof!!!

But you can pass it on to someone if you touch them before you wash it off.

I met a guy who said he got it from touching his coat two years after the last time he wore it.

Let me get this straight. You had it and now your wife has it on her butt.
