I voted for Stallions. Luckily, I'm in the majority (thus far).

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the fascination by some naming sports franchises with venomous reptile names. "Copperheads?" "Rattlers?" You have GOT to be kidding me!

you mean they'd never dive into high school names like bulldogs, panthers and jaguars?

True, "bulldogs, panthers and jaguars" are juvenille names, but they don't instantly inspire you to kill the mascot unlike copperheads, rattlers, etc. If a team ran out on a football field led by some guy in a snake outfit, my first thought would be to grab a big stick and beat him to death with it.

Hate snakes.

Nice historical reference. Point taken. :)

EDIT: Of course, that snake was shown as being cut up into sections or colonies. :D

I've always thought names like "Vipers" and "Copperheads" sounded like some Arena Football team's name. Also, I'd give Los Angeles a team before I would San Antonio. With the Cowboys in Texas, there's no need for another NFL team (I'm looking at you, Houston. )

the only way SA gets a team is if an existing ones moves there, i doubt very seriously the NFL will give an expansion team to SA. only LA would recieve that, and that might not ever happen.

lastly im still pissed that Houston chose Texans, im born and raised in Texas thus a Texan, now all of the sudden we have a team called the Texans...get my drift? they shouldve just been the Oilers again.
