Gunslingers - I loved the logo and the colors of our USFL team...although I doubt anything related to Guns will be acceptable nowadays

I like the name Gunslingers from the USFL team, I just felt the the gunfighter that was the emblem needed to be drawn better.

Here is my suggestion for a team name.....
San Antonio Vaqueros...hee hee:D (I know Vaquero is Spanish for Cowboy)

The San Antonio "We Call Them Breakfast Tacos, When Everybody Else In The Free World Calls Them Breakfast Burritos"

Their mascot would be David Robinson

Go Spurs!!!

That's funny because I was going to suggest the San Antonio Admirals, after Robinson of course.

are u sure...could have sworn when he left Houston, he had to leave the name Oilers behind.....similar to how the Ravens have to leave the Browns in Cleveland.
Bud Adams took the name and the history with him when he left Houston. Most hated owner in the city at the time. The Texans still try to celebrate the Luv Ya Blue Oilers, but they can't do too much because of the league. I don't know that Bud Adams does anything to celebrate old Oiler history.

I voted for Stallions. Luckily, I'm in the majority (thus far).

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the fascination by some naming sports franchises with venomous reptile names. "Copperheads?" "Rattlers?" You have GOT to be kidding me!

Hey,go easy on the culebra criticism.....My high school's nick-name was the "Buttons", named after one of the rattles on a rattlesnakes tail. If you don't believe me,check out Central Catholic in San Antonio. We were supposedly the "little brothers" of St. Mary's University, who are the "Rattlers". Fang 'em,Buttons!!!

I like the Stallions also, but see no problem with "Rattlers" considering Texas is filled with them.

I'd be fine with the San Antonio Rattlers.
