Should Ferguson have caught this pass?

You can argue whatever you want. It's still stupid.

"The throw has to be perfect but the receiver has a wide margin for error." That is your argument, and it is dumb.
No, that is a straw man. That's not what he claimed. It is possible for there to be blame for both parties involved. It's not zero sum game or a strict binary. Yes, Turd Ferguson should have caught it, and yes, Dak's pass was off and put Ferg in a tough spot. More blame for Ferg, but Dak also bears responsibility for ball placement.

Why am I not surprised to see the ones who are blaming #4. I would bet they never played football in their entire lives. #4 put the ball right between his eyes and allowed Ferguson to shield his defender from knocking down the ball down.

Do I need to post the video of Justin Jefferson again explaining to you non-football players where WR's want the ball? I also posted a pop-warner video because it goes back to the pop-warner. I won't waste my time because it won't make a difference here. But the truth is out there.
I'm a varsity Letterman and played at the JUCO level. What have you done in football?

What kind of question is that? It wasn’t a great throw but he still should have caught it.

Who is voting they don’t want him to catch it or don’t think he’s capable of catching it?
Essentially this question gets divided into those that think Ferguson should have caught it and those that just want to dump on the QB more for throwing an off target pass. Because there really hasn't been enough said about Dak yet. (sarcasm)

But that's not the direction he's moving.

Let's say you're driving your car down the road. What "direction" is "in front"?

It doesn't matter where you turn your head, right?

If you are confused (or wrong) about that...you shouldn't be driving.

I don't care if you think insulting people means you're right. Because you're not.

By the way...I voted ferg...so you can take YOUR "hate" and you know what.
he was running from the right of the field to the left, turned his chest forward to recieve the pass, hands was in front, slightly above his head.

not sure what's so confusing about this for you.

like I said, you are twisting yourself into a double knot pretzel (an analogy, not an insult since you are utterly sensitive). now you are talking about cars, directions,

routine route. routine play. every team runs it every week. happens all the time. fergi was at fault. that was his second drop of the game. facts. not opinion.

you voted ferg, with a "but".

no QB and I mean no QB, mahomes included throws a perfect pass everytime, and put it exactly where it needs to be. some do it more often than others.

this was a routine play. should have been a routine catch. fergi plain dropped it. that was his second drop that game. he has had others this year. he has fumbling issues. he is just not playing well right now.

so I put 99% of the blame on Fergi. 1% on dak to make you happy.

Did you notice the poll?

I'm guessing 92% of this phantom "fan club" want him gone.
Didn't bother looking at the polls......didn't even do the polls as well. Simply commenting on some of the posts....that ranged from ball with too much rotation, Fergie's body was twisting, or coming in to fast, etc. That's all I was commenting on.

In real time the pass seemed to be behind Ferg. My opinion. Or are some of us not allowed to have opinions that might be pointing to a not-so-great pass?
The ball wasn’t behind him. Opinions are fine when they don’t go against clear visual evidence right in front of your face.

The throw has a margin of error too, but when it’s wrong in that specific nature, the receiver has to definitely catch it or it can be disastrous

he is a 10M a year TE.... is expectations that Dak walks it up, and puts it in his belly and gives him a pat on the back?
in that case Fergi would have fumbled it away anyway
Yeah Ferguson blew it, I’m not disputing that. I was saying the issue with the throw doesn’t have as much to do with the drop

Are we only holding Ferg to this? Is the high(er) paid QB going to skate any responsibility?
Yes because he doesn’t have any. That ball was 100% catchable. You only want to put blame on the QB because his name is Dakota.
