Poll: TO should go or should stay

TO, whether we like it or not, is a walking media circus.
He can't breathe without it being headline news. Thats
just the way it.
Next year will be even worse, & personally I'm about TEAM,
more than one player. The Eagles recovered form their TO
addiction because they maintained a nucleus to keep winning.
Romo, Whitten, RW, DWare, Newman- are enough of a
foundation to eventually come back strong.

The TO window is closed- get rid of him!

Get rid of the guy! Oh, and don't buy his book, "Little T.O. Learns To Share"...because big T.O. does not share a damn thing. HE WANTS IT ALL TO HIS LITTLE SELF!

17, 18 passes thrown his way in a wim over the Skins and this idiot complains that he does not get enough touches?

Why wouldnt we try to trade him?

Cutting someone of his value is mind boggling. You KNOW someone would offer picks for him.

Who's dumb enough to take him? Gunna get a twinkie?

Did you go to school in Farmers Branch?
What kind of response is No keep him ?

Do you not know the worth of a comma?
No keep him sounds vaguely like American Indian speak they used in TV in the 1950s.
Please, sir, adhere to basic punctuation!

Uhh. Yes a comma should have been inserted between no and keep him.

You're a goofball.

This came out quite close.

I think another poll that would be interesting is one asking to choose who you'd rather have stay, Garrett or Owens.

Probably overdoing it, but it'd be interesting regardless I think.

I feel just the opposite.

I think Roy will continue to be a screw-off as long as Owens is around leading the circus.

Clear Owens out, sit down with Roy and tell him the sky is the limit ... you have the opportunity to be the man here in your home state ... don't blow it.

Yeah, because Owens doesn't get receivers to work hard or anything.

An off-season with T.O. would be the best thing to ever happen to a lazy player like Roy.

As I post this, the poll stands at 10-10.

So tell me again how Owens is not a divisive influence.

Posts like these demonstrate the intelligence level (extraordinarily low) of the T.O. Police.

Oh yes, people on a message board being divided on an issue means the team, a bunch of people who actually KNOW the guy (as opposed to "knowing" him through sensationalized media reports), is the exact same way.

As of this post it is 123 - 118, still proving that Owens is in fact a divisive influence on the team and the fans.

That's why he needs to go.

I'm not sure approx 250 votes split almost evenly really proves anything.

Call it "margin of error" :D

Well, the poll only reflects the opinions of the forum. You cannot extrapolate from this poll to the reality of the organization.

I remember there was a poll when Owens first arrived (or maybe just before) "Do you want Owens on the team?"

I'm almost positive that was nearly 50/50 as well. I could be wrong on that though. If so though, not much has changed in 3 years. ;)

Distraction? its the dallas cowboys they should be called the dallas distractions. if it's not TO the media will find some other problem in big D to lament on. If TO isnt there theyll turn on tony. They will having breaking news stories on espn about dates that him and jessica simpson went on during the football week and werders "sources" will speculate their breakup. the zone will be filled with posts about his focus and have polls about weather he should dump her or not. Espn is a hop skip and a jump away from being E! television. The Dallas cowboys are a huge media market, its ratings, its hard to fill 24 hours of sports news a day. It was pacman last week, and TO unfortunately is the flavor of this week.the problems go beyond TO, like the guy or not he is still a huge threat, he wouldn't be making headlines in a superbowl atmospere that he aint playing in if he was not a threat. i think if Dallas cuts TO some other team will swipe him up fast. lets face it, the man only has a few years left in the tank and i think some team, especially a struggling one, would take the risk of at least a year. To say if we cut him he's done is niave.

take off the blinders. if we cut him today, no team but the raiders or the skins would take him. period.

New stadium...fresh start...need to focus more on our running game.

As Deion would say...."I believe in you Roy!"
