Just because it's sorta slow around here and I've never tried a poll.

So, which position do you want Dallas to draft in the first round?

Pass rusher ..... dont care which position ..... or Wide receiver if a rare talent is still on the board.

i dont like how safety and CB are together.. while id be ok with a CB being taken.. i would hate a FS being taken... im basically ok with either WR or CB in the 1st round as long as the 2nd round is the 1 we dont take.. probably id go WR 1st round like a mechem or a bowe and then in the 2nd id take eric wright..

Seems to be excellent talent at the WR position in this years draft....I hope a good one falls to us.

If not give me a CB or pass rusher.

Eh...it's more an indication of wanting to upgrade the secondary. I hate polls that have 20 difference choices, because the results become less meaningful. O-line are lumped together as are the linebacker positions.

To me it comes down to either wide receiver or cornerback. Personally I think the talent of the receivers this year is far greater than cornerbacks, where every cornerback has questions either regarding one solid year of production or speed, etc. The receivers however seem to be the most talented class in a long time. Also, with all of the underclassmen coming out at the receiver position, the talent pool in next year's draft will not be as deep when wide receiver could be a position of need in 2008 for the Cowboys rather than BPA in 2007.

You can't have too many catalytic pass rushers. And right now we only have 1.

WR in round 1 if Ginn or Meachem are there. Being an explosive returnman is a big plus imo. If our 1st rounder is a WR or CB that can return punts and keep TNew away from handling those duties that's a big plus since they can get lots of playtime even though they aren't a starter yet. More special teams + comes in on certain formations + solid backup if an injury occurs is perfectly fine with me for our 1st.

Would rather not grab a safety, not even Nelson. Landry has no shot at being there at 22 of course.

I don't care. Between WR and OL, I guess. WR will probably be a better value.

Best value appears to be at WR.

But if a stud RB drops again, I'll be distraught if we pass it up.

Again.

Who would be a "stud" that may fall to us?

Yeah, there's about a 1% chance Lynch falls past Green Bay and about a .00001% chance he falls past New York.

I didnt even know he was considered a "stud."

I thought the only stud was AP.

I think he'll be a very productive back in the NFL. He'll be a Steven Jackson or a Rudi Johnson type back -- always productive and in the top 10, but never a top 3 or 4 like LT, LJ, or SA.
