Poll: What position do you want Dallas to draft in Round 1?

I picked LB, because I want Moss to eventually replace Ellis at SOLB.

Here's my Cowboy mock...

1. DE Jarvis Moss...6-6 258
2. DT Tank Tyler...6-2 306
3. LB Quincy Black...6-2 240
4. OL Corey Hilliard...6-5 308
5. CB Courtney Brown...6-2 200
6. RB Alonzo Coleman...5-10 207
6. WR Jacoby Jones...6-3 210
6. WR Legedu Naanee...6-2 225
7. CB Anthony Arline...6-2 199
7. FB Derek Schouman...6-2 247
7. OT Stephen Heyer...6-6 334

Easy choice for me especially with Greg Ellis turning 32 and coming off a horrible Achilles injury......

OLB/DE!

Oh say a guy like Anthony Spencer or Jarvis Moss...;)

My thinking exactly, but I like Moss' potential more.

Here's my latest Cowboy mock...

1. DE Jarvis Moss...6-6 258
2. DT Tank Tyler...6-2 306
3. LB Quincy Black...6-2 240
4. CB Courtney Brown...6-2 200

Man maybe if Moss/Spencer are clearly the BPA, but come the hell on. 3 1st round linebackers in the past 3 years? Our entire freakin offense is going to be full of undrafted players.

And whats the problem with that if we remain top 5 in offense?

i say BPA, but at 22 that most likely will be wr or cb. both being the 2 posistion that the cowboys are actually old. so either will suit me fine.

A Wr, young, fast, we have 2 32+ yr old starters, who had season ending injuries before, u never know, we did the same thing last time when irvin went down and no future star in sight and had some lean years at that position, if no wr available, go with CB.

Quite a huge if you got there.

What?

We were number 5 in YPG last year.

If we can draft defense in the 1st round and remain in the top 5 there I dont care if we keep on drafting defense.

A lot of people on this board seem to have this idea that the earlier you are drafted the better you will be as opposed to later round guys.

I understand that this is how its suppose to be but there are guys all over the league who who early round busts, late round bust, late round greats, and early round greats.

As long as you draft guys who have potential then you don't necessarily need 1st round picks at all positions.

BPA.

If that is a WR, take him.

If that is a NT, take him.

If that is a S or CB, take him.

etc, etc......
